http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?i...TC-DT9705204233 i would give him a 5 year 24 million with 7 up front. thats what hes worth. what a joke i bet he sucks it up this year.
i think all players are over paid(especially baseball players)... but you see, i spend too much time w/ my grandpa so thats become my opinion w/ everything... he keeps explaining how you got paid game to game depending on what you did... kick return=5$ or something... very little cash. they shouldnt be gettin paid 20M$ thats pathetic. people dont even make that in a 5 year span even longer
I think the players are paid fairly. If the players generate 1 billion dollars in revenue through their job and get paid 40% of that then both parties are benfiting. It is economics. If you made your boss 100 million dollars and he paid you 40,000 dollars you would probably quit and find someone who could make you more. People who think that every should get paid the same want to see the economy tank. Socialism does not work. If everyone got the same amount no matter then there is no motivation for people to work harder and apathy takes hold. It happened in soviet union and they collapsed.
I agree Dawk. They should have waited till sometime right after this season to give him a contract and make sure he is for real. I think we waited until the season started after brady won the superbowl to give him a deal and we only gave him 30 mil and the signing bonus was less than delhommes. haha I hope they choke on that contract.
wrong they wont choke on that contract and delhomme will take the panthers to the playoffs agian and make a run for a superbowl but i think he will only get better cause really delhomme's numbers werent much better than carters. delhomme just performed in the playoffs and carter didnt.
first season in a new system and took them to the superbowl...has his head where it should be, and not up his hoosy-whatsits...made very good decisions over the last 8 games he played...he won't choke, and he wasn't overpaid...it will be his second year knowing the system and he will do very well...
does anyone else see the irony in an Eagles fan suggesting that Delholme is overpaid, when he makes less than McNabb, yet has accomplished the one thing McNabb has repeatedly failed to do?
