it all depends on who they sign. if they sign brand and kandi, then they won't do good, but if they sign dre and maggette than they will be very effective. i think wilcox will be very good in a couple of years.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting "allnet":</div><div class="quote_post">wilcox & ely SHOULD be good..but remember what franchise they are at...</div> we all know my stance on the clippers. they are what the nbdl is striving to be, they are the minor league system for young prospects. wilcox & ely are next in line to develop in clipper land and then land a big contract somewhere else once they become free agents.
i think the nba should be able to sign players and send them to the minors but there should be better minor leagues like how hockey and baseball do it.
yea, college is kinda like the minors for bball, and it shouldnt be that way. <div class="quote_poster">Quoting "allnet":</div><div class="quote_post">kandi is as good as gone...</div> i think we figured that out when LA fans started booing him whenever he touched the ball
nene will have a great year next year if he plays PF and not center where he is out of position.. I dont see skita doing anything till 2004 season.....He has already put on 15lbs of muscle and will be much improved...

i don't think any of us will be alive to see that. the clippers might not even be part of the nba in a few years and definately not in los angeles. they always be second fiddle to the lakers. the clippers have so much talent, but it's hard to play as a team and commit to it, when the owners aren't willing to reciprocate the same commitment back. it's also hard to gel as a team when you don't know who's staying and who's leaving. clipperland is just a breading ground for young players to polish their game, accumulate stats, and then cash in as free agents with another team and turn into stars. kinda sounds like a record label who produces boybands. clipperland your first stop to nba superstardom.
i dont think theyll move. or be contracted. the NBA is too dumb to contract teams to make the talent pool richer
