<div class="quote_poster">Quoting "allnet":</div><div class="quote_post">or ready to getting traded...</div>That's what I thought after the Grizzlie's horrible draft, haha. But they keep piling on these mediocre to average guys that noone else could possibly want to trade for. I mean, would you want to see Robert Archibald or Mike Batiste in a Pistons uniform?

Dont worry teams do that all the time. Then waive them in september or something. its all for the summer league to see what these guys can do.

Usually when guys come in for the summer and preseason they aren't signed to year long contracts first if the organization is just testing them out.

    Archibald - 1.3 million
    Batiste - 1.3 million
    Owens - 1.3 million

West has made stupid signings before. He signed Czezary Trybanski to a 5.5 million, 3 year deal. Last year was Trybanski's rookie year. He played in less than ten games, and the most points he ever scored was two.

I thought trybanski had 2 double figure games against the magic, but you probably watched all the games so i dont know. BUT DAMN!!!!!!!!!! What was Jerry West thinking, he must have a slick little plan going.

People are really questioning West in Memphis. We are paying him crazy figures, but he isn't producing.

I remember Fotsis, from Greece. He was great. I wish the Grizzlies would have kept him. He worked hard and he even payed 2 million or something of his own money to buyout his contract. Then he came to the NBA as a high second round pick who could have been a first rounder and he sat on the bench the whole year not getting any minutes, with the exception of a few games. He was shipped back to Greece the next year.
