thats totally not true. Pierce and Walker are superstars but its naive to think that a team with eric williams, tony battie, tony delk, and walter maccarty as its supporting cast could make the finals without making a ton of threes. they take the threes because of that they were almost eastern champs last year. ASk any NBA coach. more than half of them will tell you that walker is one of the 15-20 best players in the game. thats why they make him an all star

k, here's my take on walker- he's got a lot of skill. i dont think he should be wasting that skill on the 3pt line. maybe if he was a good 3pt shooter, but he's not. where do the Celtics need help? in the paint. that's where Walker should be. he should go back to his post play. they don't need a PG to feed him the ball. Pierce can do that. as for Walker's rebounding. it's not that bad considering the time he does spend behind the arc. if he was actually in the paint, they'd be decent numbers for a real PF

The man is not a good 3pt shooter. Therefore, he shouldn't spend all his time on the arc. He should use his talents in the paint and post up. That's my biggest peeve with Walker and CWebb. They could be so much more dominating if they spent more time in the paint.
hes not that bad a three shooter. any time u take so many youre percentage is going to godown eventually and yes he is helping his team. thats why they win people. if the strategy didnt work they d change it
