SEATTLE (AP) -- Nick Collison, the 12th pick in last month's NBA draft, has agreed to a contract with the Seattle SuperSonics. Collison, a 6-foot-9 power forward, averaged 14.8 points and 8.0 rebounds in a four-year career at Kansas. The 22-year-old will be a member of the U.S. Olympic qualifying team that will compete next month in Puerto Rico. Terms of the deal were not disclosed Monday.
good for them, i knew it was going to happen anyway...they make him so bad when they show his career stats, his last year at Kansas he averaged 18ppg 10rpg....
the guy put up 33 and 19 in a title game, and arguably outplayed carmelo in the NCAA title game with 19 and 21, if he was black he'd be getting good raps (and thats not racially motivated, its just cos of the failure of white big guys like mihm and przybilla) they signed luke ridnour as well today, which is very good news for sonics fans
well he'll certainly get his chance on a supes team without a low post presence - i'd predict maybe 11 and 7, that would be solid for him
