    Sixers looking to sign Thomas

<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Philadelphia Daily News: The 76ers have moved closer in their negotiations with restricted free agent Kenny Thomas. But how close? President/general manager Billy King is providing name, rank and serial number, and precious little else.

It is thought that King is offering Thomas a 7-year contract, the maximum permissible under the NBA's collective bargaining agreement. A deal of that duration almost certainly would be worth between $40 million and $60 million.

Teams cannot finalize deals in free agency until July 16, but King has confirmed that, when the free-agency period opened July 1, he also made contact with the agents for Sixers unrestricted free agents Derrick Coleman, Brian Skinner and Tyrone Hill. He clearly has some level of interest in Coleman and Skinner; it is not known whether he has similar interest in Hill, who signed with the team as a free agent just after last season's trade deadline.

King also has shown some interest in Andrew DeClercq, who was a backup with Orlando last season. King would have interest in Miami's Alonzo Mourning, but is aware that Dallas and San Antonio, among others, are in the hunt. Read Article</div>

Well it's official, kind of late though. [IMG] It's because I hardly ever post in this thread anymore, I'll try to more now. Anyways, here is the article:

<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Philadelphia 76ers President and General Manager Billy King announced on Wednesday, July 16, 2003 that the Sixers have re-signed forward Kenny Thomas to a multi-year deal. Per team policy, terms of the contract are not disclosed.

“I am excited to re-sign Kenny,” King said. “I think he has a tremendous upside. I look forward to Kenny building on the energy he brought to the team at the end of the season and during playoffs.” </div>

I think he will start, who else would we put in his position? Also, I think he is the right man for the job, dude is sick when rebounding, one night he grabbed 10 rebounds in one quarter!

Yeah I didn't get that one either, was it supposed to be a diss. Here, go think of something, write it down so you don't forget, then walk to your PC and type it in. Simple huh, if you have any problems, ask for assistance.
