Who is the worst team in the NFL? I would definnetely have to say its the Arizona Cardinals.

The Cardinals were 4-12 last year and were 0-8 on the road. You would expect them to improve, right. Well they haven't much . It looks like their starting QB will be McCown or Shaun King. When King or McCown is ur starting QB you should know that your team will be unsuccessful. They have two ok running backs. They have Emmit Smith, who is in his 16th year playing in the NFL, and theres Marcel Shipp who averaged 3.6 yards per carry. I don't think they will carry the Cardinals far in the season. Something they've improved on is their WRs. They've got Fitzgerald, Johnson, and Boldin.

Now for the Defense. The only good defensive players on the Cardinals are Starks, McKinnon, Pace, and Jackson. This will not be enough to win more then 3 games this season. They have time to improve but I think the Arizona defense is dead but the WRs may pull off some wins for them.

IMO... i gotta go w/ the San Diego Chargers...

think about it, theyve got Tomlinson. thats it

there QBs are Flutie, whos about 42 and wont isnt very good anymore, and Brees, who definitely has a lot to learn...

Tomlinson is the only player on this team you can expect to actually do something, other than that, they are nothing...

then for WRs... you have kevin dyson who isnt that good either, hes so-so

to be honest w/ ya, they got rid of there 2nd best player... and that was boston...

The worst franchise is the Cardinals, but I think the worst team this season will be the Chargers or 49ers...

why is SD bad? they have a great young player, a future QB, a good young corner, i just dont see why they are so bad. bad record? yea, bad team? no. same with the cards, i know ownership screwed themselves for the past billion years, but it looks like they are moving in the right direction. good coach, good offensive core building, nice d-line building, and to go farther, decend Ss, Jackson and Wilson.

but i say the niners are the worst team and are going to be for years, no future, no direction, bad coach and a bad gm, tom donahue(or what ever his name is, terry)

Arizona being the worst "franchise" and San Francisco being the worst record this year was what I was agreeing with. I think the Chargers will stay at the bottom of the AFC West this year, but I still believe in Schottenheimer. They will get better eventually. I just had a funny thought...How long has "Wait till next year!" been the battle cry of the Cards?

Dead on ... Greg knows the truth! And the answer to his question is since they were the Chicago Cardinals!

I'm sorry but do you watch football Dawk? They have no defense. I mean 0 defense. That means none, zero, zilch.... you have to have something that resembles defense to win in the NFL.... cutting Harrison & Seau won't help you get better.

And drafting a stiff like Jammer doesn't do anything for the cause. I do however think the 49ers will find a way to be worse than both the cards and Chargers. They lost way to much in Streets,Garcia, and TO not to mention their head coach belongs in a wheelchair league.

SF, my point was they dont have a horrible team, they just will be last in the division. they are rebuilding and have some pieces in place.

besides i never get to see SD games on the east coast, last time i saw them live was when they played the eagles.

I watched a bunch of their games last seaons...none in entirety but would watch never the less through the NFL Ticket. They had one of the most miserable Defenses in the league. I feel for Donnie Edwards getting abandoned out there this season with no Seau, No Harrison, and now no Wiley!! They are in big trouble on that side this year.

San Francisco should have enough of that young defense to be below average and Barlow is a bright spot. Arizona now has Dennis Green and Josh McCown, Boldin, and Fitzgerald should be a nice combo.

I'm staying with the Chargers as my worst team this season....

Have to go w/ Arizona for franchise ineptitude and the Chargers are now on clock for the 05 draft.
