    Doubt it...what happens when duncan gets doubled?...Kidd will brick it..at least parker knocks the shots down....rose is a hardworker and hurts L.A..without him and parker...forget it....seriously this sucks..

    oh shut up no youre just being ridiculous "kidd will brick it" hes not the best shooter but hes very good. great especially at trick shots. he makes some thtat no one else makes. it wont matter if duncan gets doubled because kidd will find open shots for all the other plpayers on the team. youre selling them so short. they ouwldnt have won the title and embarrassed the nets if duncan was the only one who can shoot. youre talking likk parker and rose are better than kidd

    Parker and rose are more important to the team..kidd is not the best option..if spurs are to get kidd...it should be a straight up signing..parker and mainly rose are the key to playing the lakers...kidd always struggles..mainly against kobe

    see^ straight from the nets fan's mouth. i dont want this to happen. why get rid of a good 21 year old PG who's only gonna get better and sign an awesome 30 year old PG.. especially when the Spurs don't NEED a PG. they need a frickin big man dammit

    rose and parker and bowen are all integral parts to the spurs success. take two of them away for kidd? ummmm then that's gonna sound a whole lot more like 2 superstars and that's it....

    not a good trade imo.

    ^agreed. the spurs have a tons of guys with small contracts that deserve more. they should keep them while they still can

    so with all that said how would the nets be with parker and rose and how will the spurs be with kidd and duncan in the west(the conference that has the lakers)lol

    besides, why take away bowen? he did a great job defending kobe. take away bowen and the spurs are just completely, absolutely screwed. it'll be like the last laker championship with kobe dunkin on duncan at will.

    Kidd and Duncan are arguably the two best players in the league. Why would any of you guys turn down the opportunity to get both of them? It would be better than Kobe and Shaq. The Spurs always have Bowen, Ginobili, and possibly Jackson for Kidd to dish too if Duncan gets doubled. Kidd makes his teammates better. No offense to any of the posters at Justbball.com, but who do you think knows more about basketball, the Spurs GM or you? When you guys say that you would rather see Brand on the Spurs it downright sickens me. Kidd is a four time All-NBA teamer and a one time All-Second NBA teamer. He was runner up for MVP the season before last. Spurs fans should be welcoming Kidd with arms wide open. Kidd does not have a big ego by the way.

    obviously the GM knows more.. but GM's make bad decisons all the time. a point guard is not what you need to succeed in the West. you need size. Kidd will help the Spurs LOADS, but the spurs don't need that kind of help. they'll need rebounding down low, and size. take away Duncan, and the Spurs are a small team. Rose plays like a big man, but lacks height. Kevin Willis doesnt' get too many minutes, and Danny Ferry doesn't play like a big man. I guess i won't be as disappointed as long as the Spurs sign Brad Miller/Brown/Olowokand/Mourning.. but signing any of them isn't a garauntee

    yes, kidd makes his teammates better....on offense. but his presence alone isn't gonna help the spurs guard kobe (assuming bowen is traded).

    They Better, if they do I'll be a very happy guy. But Kidd is better than Payton, Duncan is better than Malone so it will depend on Shaq slimming down and Kobe playing good.

    San Antonio needs to try keep Parker/Rose and just sign Kidd. Then they can trade for a SG/Centre.

    they can't just trade Parker straight up for a center though.. his salary is too small. i dont think the Spurs have to worry about Kobe.. just Shaq.

    If they trade Parker for a Center who was drafted in the last three or four years then it will work. Like Parker and Rose for Swift and D.Jones.
