Pau's brother, Marc Gasol of Lausagnne HS in Memphis, just commited to the University of Memphis this morning. He will be a walkon.

Marc Gasol is not like Pau in the least bit. I know Marc pretty well. He is about 6-10 and 350 lbs.. He is rather chunky, but I wouldn't call him fat. He is a real power player.

Banks was one of the best players in the country last year. He was a national top 25 player in the country. True about Banks maybe not being eligible, but I don't really know. If he is, you will see what he can do. He is a 6'7" SG with a nice jump shot. He doesn't play hard at all, that is his biggest problem. He only plays big, in big events. Played GREAT in AAU tournaments, and great at ABCD camp, but against small HS teams sometimes he doesn't do much, and then against St. Patricks one of the top teams in the country, he had 34. And why isn't Memphis going to be good? Really, why? I don't know. They have Banks coming in...who if you have seen play, you know what he can do...then who did they lose? You remember they were top 25 last year also..
They lose their 6 best players. They start some kids who averaged 2 ppg last year. They will be downright pitiful. They have noone on their team outside of Banks that could make the Michigan State roster. Anyway, about Banks, he is a proven gang member and he was caught carving a gang symbol in some girl's leg a few months ago. He is in tonnes of legal trouble and he is probably not going to be eligable academically either. Even if Banks is cleared to play Memphis will still suck. Banks can't lead a team into the top 50 on his own.
EDIT : I just found a little thing about Sean Banks being arrested for burning a gang sing into a girl with a cigarrette. The kid really doesn't think. He could definately be in the NBA someday, but he is an idiot.
No. Not at all. Marc is a big guy who uses his size to his advantage. He is sort of overweight. Pau is a skinny guy who uses the hookshot. Welcome to Justbball.com by the way! Are you a Grizz fan too?
