It looks like Walter may stay. <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Someone pull Tommy Heinsohn in from the ledge. Walter may not be lost just yet. The Celtics have decided to raise their offer to multitasking free agent Walter McCarty. The original plan had Walter slotted at the veteran minimum, but yesterday the club proposed a three-year deal totaling roughly $3.5 million. The third year is the player's option.</div>

I don't know where he fits in their rotation but I'd like him to stay if he will accept a cheap deal like the one Ainge proposed.

<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">While the Magic are biding their time, they are also courting free agent Walter McCarty, who is unhappy with any and all offers from his old team, the Boston Celtics.

McCarty, a 6-10, 230-pound forward, was in town earlier this week to speak with Magic officials and dined with Juwan Howard, who signed with Orlando on Wednesday.</div>

It looks like the Celtics may not resign Walter after all.

Thats what Ive been thinking. Kedrick has the skills and the athleticism but has been constantly injured. I like to think hes gonna find a way to contribute. is he too old for the slam dunk competition. he could win that. But either way i dont think hell be out of the leauge if he dont produce, just off the celtics

is he? i thouhg jordan was in it in his 3rd or 4th year. kedrick was supposed to be in it. he couldve won it but he got hurt. and then before this season started he got hurt again and diddnt get to show his stuff. At the very least kedrick has the ability to be a kmart like defender with better ups (did you see hime jump OVER the 7ft tony battie to blocl a shot in a gme htis year)
it seems he can shoot in practice and when he was in school but he deosnt seem to know how to unleas or doesnt know how to work in an offensive system or something

I do think he couldve. Jason Richadson may be slightly more acrobatic but kedrick can absolutley fly. ive seen him dunk taking off from further from the basket than anyone since MJ
