    If i cheated on my girlfriend..she would end it with me straight away....it's it just the money issue? i can't believe people actually think it's ok for him to cheat and still has his wife with him...doesn't matter how early in their marriage they are.

    but what im saying is you can be pretty damn sure it wasnt just kissing if he admitted to general 'adultery' without even attempting to clarify that.

    Rich people dont go to jail, innocent or guilty. Just look at OJ it was proven he was guilty but got off the hook. Kobe is going to get away with this one too.. Even though he was offically charged

    Adultery is defined as "Sexual intercourse between a married person and a partner other than the lawful spouse."
    That rules out your argument. also there is no way the DA woulf ile charges without proof they ahd at least had sex.

    very disappointing. how can you cheat on your wife right after you just had your first kid? bad day for laker fans and nba fans in general. i guess he really wants to be like jordan. i'm still a fan of the player, but no longer a fan of the person. i just hope the lakers can play through this distraction and win the title. :thumbsdow

    Who cares, I really don't give a damn. People are too concerned about celebrities nowadays. I don't think he did what he did, sure he had sex with her but rape, I think not. It would be cool if he could stick around and play more for the NBA, but if not then we have other people to watch on weeknights.

    i really doubt this was rape. love it live, i think the reason so many of us care is because he was a role model for kids on and off court. there aren't too many guys like that in the NBA, and then this happens

    I never liked Kobe personally... but I'm rollin with him til this bullsh!t comes to an end. He'd never do anything like that, it's just not him.

    yeah even though i'm pissed at him, you are probably right. in 2 years i will forget about it. winning makes everything easier, and in time i'll forgive kobe. but i've lost a lot of respect for him and that won't change. :thumbsdow

    exactly, but if you think about it no one should look up to sports icons & celebs. The Kobe thing sure suprised me
