    Walker's vehicle rolled over, partially ejecting him. He was treated at a hospital and later released. The hospital would not describe what, if any injuries, he sustained.

    Walker told troopers he had two alcoholic drinks. Authorities are waiting for the results of a blood test. He was headed home when the accident happened.

    He also was charged with failure to maintain control of a vehicle and not wearing a seat belt.

    Walker could not be reached for comment. There is no telephone listing for him in Ohio or California. His arraignment is scheduled for July 30.

    Lakers spokesman John Black said he was not aware of the charges and had no further comment. Walker is an unrestricted free agent and is not expected to be re-signed.

    I guess former laker..but still not signed by anyone....but has been part of the lakers franchise..payton,kobe now walker....

    This must be Stern's idea. Why the <font color="red">EDIT</font> are all the NBA players gettin in trouble? Promotional stunts for next year?

    This is horrible. This summer is kind of a toss-up for the Lakers. They made some great FA aquisitions however they have had numerous players get in trouble with the law. All that being said the Lakers will still be the team to beat next year in most people's eyes. I hope Kobe is found innocent as I dont think he commited that crime however, I might be wrong.

    these NBA players are turning into the NFL a couple years ago when they were all caught with drugs and getting speeding tickets and what not... but the NBA still has a while to catch up to the MLB...

    yea, he won't be back... doesen't matter anyways he's not that good.

    for a player to promote themselves doing s**t off the court is the best way if their not good enough to be majorly recognised on the court,although this not obviously planned but it will boost his image

    ^lol, good idea...Lets see Kobe bryant, Samaki, Gary Payton, Sam Cassell, Drew Gooden, Darrell Armstrong, Damon Stoudamire, Glenn Robinson, Jerry Stackhouse, Chris Webber, Clarks dad, thats ONLY this summer. Did i miss any? You could include AI and many others for the previous years

    people shouldnt make a big deal out of someone being arrested for a bar fight. half the time theyre just defending themselves
