im not so sure the pistons are still going to sign a big free agent anymore. their arent many left. and how many roster spots do the pistons really have to work with.

the nets really havent improved. theyve gotten older and slower by signing zo. is he even going to play?

We won't sign a big name FA of course but there are still some useful players that can help us become better...that jones from the cavs for example..

least your confident in yourself. u just made it seem like you are god or something and can place the teams however you want. no way will the magic finish below the celtics. i'm sorry, but IMO hornets are better than the pistons, if they can have a year without injuries.

thats like saying shaq can fly...it's not possible

hornets are not better than pistons..they proved they aren't over the years...if tonie is back in shape boston should be able to finish ahead of magic...pierce and tonie...is a deadly duo when they are on their games

    [IMG] sure.

    matchup
    pg-hornets
    sg-pistons
    sf-hornets
    pf-pj vs big ben, pistons
    c-cliffy vs magloire, hornets

whatever, no point arguing with you now, u won't change your mind, just wait til the regular season.

no way the magic finish below the celtics? they did this year. and the magic havent improved that much more than the celts. ooooh juwan howard. i hope he stays healthy. the celts still have the best duo in the east and when you have that you always have a chance to contend for a top spot. im not saying im god or anything but of all the teams i think will be better than the celts this year the magic certainly arent one of them. the pistons are

Billups is better than davis....the only spot hornets are better at is SF..with mash..cliffy won't be with us for long soon..we are expecting to trade for a player who has ben playing center...i can't say at this moment in time..i was told not to say a word..

you say just wait til the season? well yes you wait.....and pistons will prove you wrong yet again..by getting a top 2 seed...

I agree totally..pierce will have a better season next year..and a heathly tonie...and with sub-par years from them they still finished a head of magic..

oh my goodness. allnet saying something that coould be construed as positve about antoine walker....im not even gonna say anyting. just let me enjoy this moment...itll never happen again. [IMG]

I think though you might be slightly underestimating the hornets though allnet. i dont think theyll finish ahead of the pistons but stranger things have happens. Baron davis IS better than billups ecxept maybe with 10 seconds left on the closck

i think Davis is better than Billups, but i dont think you can compare the Hornets and the Pistons with individual matchups. Pistons have a deeper bench. They also had and have a great coach. Hornets are stuck with TIM FLOYD. lets celebrate

Just because i dislike walker alot doesn't mean i won't give credit for how important he is to boston and what he brings......hornets have talent but never lived up to the hype...why will they now with the worst coach in NBA history? i don't see how they will....losing silas was dumb

One-on-One matchups don't apply when you have the best defensive team in the league.

What ahve the Hornets ever done, they have never achieved much in the postseason and it isn't like they have improved. they remain the same while oter teams are getting better around them.

True, all their players look great on paper but yet they can't achieve anything together. They should pull of some trades if they want a bright future.

^exactly. moving to the Western Conference is just gonna send them backwards from what they're trying to become.

yea but theyve always had a winning team. they make it to the playoffs every year and usually win a series. thats better than most teams in the east. they could defnly contend for the finals this year. theyll be better than the magic. maybe better than the sixers and will likely fight it out with new jersey detroit indy and boston for a top 4 spot. baron davis is way better than billups

How is baron way better than billups? chauncey actually plays games....baron can pass the ball..they are pretty close in points.....billups would get more assists but he this year was told to create more he is a better shooter..shoots the three better..FT's better and average the same rebounds a game. All baron is clearly better at is assists right now....hornets have never won a a best of 7 series...they won when a series were best of 5..but they have never got past the 2nd round.

Why, the Celtics have favorable matchups. I don't really care what everyone here says Pierce can play with Tmac. Also Pierce plays better defense. The Celtics are getting better just as the Magic are. Juwan Howard won't change much except take shots away from Gooden.

Also the Pistons have improved each of the last two season and are only getting better. when both teams were mostly healthy in 2002 the Pistons had the better season.

wow that's bold. i agree though.

i still think Baron Davis is better than Billups, but I woulda taken Billups over him this season only because of the injuries
