sg-Rip vs vc - Carter, but he has to be healthy.
sf-Tayshuan/Curry vs Peterson/Murray - Peterson/Murray
pf-Wallace vs Moiso/JYD/Bosh - Wallace
c-Robinson/Cambell vs Davis - Davis

 

Why are you comparing match-ups for? pistons don't only play on talent..but they play amazing defence....do spurs have the best team on paper? no..but they still won the title..

you can compare lineups all you want, but a great defensive team doesn't need to win matchups. Matchups are meaningless if the other team can only score 75 points. The Pistons can shut down any team in the league, did you see how they played the Magic, Sixers, and at times the Nets.

 

paul Pierce is one of my favorite players but he cant play with tmac, tmac is way better than pierce. tmac=top 3 player. pierce= top 10 player.

 

i think it's agreed that Tmac is better than Pierce, but that doesn't mean that Pierce can't give him a run for his money

Ok I'll admit Pierce had a down year and Tmac had better numbers. But Pierce plays better defense and I don't want to bring this up but Pierce plays big in big games, Tmac doesn't. I like Tmac a lot and think he's a great player but he isn't that
much better than Pierce.

I'll post this again:

Also I guarantee anyone who isn't a Raptors fan would gladly take the Pistons lineup over the Raptors.

 

I would take B Diddy on my team any day. The comment that Billups is better than him is just foolishness.

BC, the reason tmac choked in game 7 was because for every game he played in this year he had to do everything. Tmac also has a 30 point average during his playoff career with 6 35+ point games........... Pierce defense is not that much better than tmac's, sasser scored 26 points on him for god sakes.................... even though antoine isnt a great shooter, hes a hell of alot better player than gooden or armstrong.

Now you know how AI has felt the last seven seasons.

 

I think A.I. had more talent around him than tmac did last year. also in the playoffs pat garrity was hurt, if he would have been healthy the pistons would have been swept..........If tmac doesent get out of the 1st round this upcoming year then its his fault and he will have to take the blame.

yeah i agree. Its a complete joke to even say hes better then mcgrady

 

No one is saying he is better....but if you look on match-ups when magic face boston...they are very equal..and at times pierce out-plays mcgrady...just check the games

 

Tmac was only outplayed 2 times this year and i know one of them was allen iverson. tmac had 39 points,10 rebounds, and 9 assists. that just shows you how good you have to play to out play tmac.

 

Mcgrady is a great talent and it is tough to have a better game than him because he is so consistant with his scoring...but pierce is a very good player also...and can play with the best of them

 

i dont remember him being out played by pierce. Remind me...and the magic didnt match up well as a team to the celtics because mcgrady didnt have any help. The celtics were a more talented team. But i dont think they are anymore with the magics new lineup

 

I'm not a celtics fan so be best ask olskool and BC....but i always thought they played each other well
