I will still like Horry, but what the heck is this all about?!

"I dealt with two of the most ballhogging people in the world," Horry said, referring to O'Neal and Kobe Bryant. "(Duncan) is not like that. You're not going to read anything in the paper about 'My teammates need to get me the ball,' like another big man we know."

Memo to Shaquille: Throw it down on Horry's melon!

yea...but look what is said before:

<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Horry will once again be teammates with one of the league's elite big men, but he joked about the differences between Tim Duncan and Shaquille O'Neal.

he "joked" so maybe he was just joking around when he said that, and the press is just making it look worse than it is...the media has a tendency to alter how something is percieved

If you read the entire article it appears like hes kidding. He is right in a way. Shaq/Kobe demand the ball. Which makes me wonder about signing gp and mailman..Spurs did good gettin him though

Thats where you are wrong..rob will only play 15 minutes a game and basically come in and hit a few threes or get some boards..he won't be pressured into playing 35 minutes a game like he did in L.A....spurs are so deep...unlike the lakers this year

Oh yeaaaah, the Spurs are sooooo deep. They have Kevin Willis! Wohoo! I'm gonna pee my pants!!! [IMG]

I guess they do have an extra player because the ref Danny Crawford practically plays for them... [IMG]

[IMG] I hope you have fun seeing Rob's tinman body waddle up the court. I still like him, but I actually admit when one of my team's players is washed up. Nice try though..

    <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Nice try though..</div>

Nice try at what? proving a point that horry won't play much...talk about a bitter laker fan..

You mention kevin willis? wasn't he the guy who had a put-back dunk on your homecourt..in a 110-82 win in game 6

Yeah you just read that. And you want some reasoning? Get this punk-fool: The Spurs averaged 9 more free throws per game than opponents in the playoffs. :thumbsdow

And why do you think that was? because they attacked the basket!! tim duncan is so damn good in the post..so is malik...parker can drive hard..because of his quickness...you attack the rim..you get the calls...it's not that hard to understand

sells out? ... wtf kinda crack you kid? ... So Malone and Payton dont "sell out" but Horry does ... you Lakers pull double standards constantly...

Horry was joking... and if you dont think its TRUE and funny as a Laker fan... you just prove to me that you up tight laker fans cant take critisim for your flawed team... lemme make somethin straight... this is not the best team in NBA History and the will not win 80 games ...

WOW i guess this is the first time the lakers have ever had less calls. They ALWAYS got the calls. maybe the refs realized they were screwing all the other teams

"Horry will once again be teammates with one of the league's elite big men, but he joked about the differences between Tim Duncan and Shaquille O'Neal."

Allnet--Don't give me that junk about "attacking the hoop gets more free throws. And the Spurs did that more than the Lakers." Bull crap. You telling me Duncan gets fouled more than Shaq? Haha. The Nets, Suns, and Lakers all knew they got screwed by the refs when playing San Antone. Game 6 against the Suns in the first round was totally in favor of the Spurs..It was disgusting! [IMG]

Kobe attacks the hoop, but Bowen slaps him and then there is no call. When Duncan attacks the hoop there is an automatic foul on Madsen. Check the replays, watch the tape. The Spur's defense is overrated. They slap, grab, hack. It's a tragedy. The NBA needs to do something about that...

9 more free-throw attempts. I know one team has to shoot more, but 9 more?! No, that's not right...
