according to SI, the deal is final: http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/ba...iller_kings_ap/ Kings get Miller, lose Turkoglu Pacers get Pollard and Ferry, lose Miller and Mercer Spurs get Turkoglu and Mercer, lose Ferry
i cannot believe this trade went through. the spurs only gave up danny ferry, and receive mercer & hedo. the pacers get screwed in this deal and the east just got even weaker, losing one of their top big men. the 5 team arms race continues.
<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Good to be the Kings The talented Kings just got even better. Sacramento acquired All-Star center Brad Miller on Thursday in a three-team trade that saw San Antonio land Hedo Turkoglu and Ron Mercer, and Indiana nab Scot Pollard and Danny Ferry.</div> http://www.nba.com <-- on the front page
it must have been hard for them to find a decent pic of scott pollard. yea, i think the Pacers got screwed. i have no idea why they went through with it, but that's less competition for my Baby Bulls
Why is it bad for the Pacers? It's good for them. They were going to lose Brad Miller anyway. So get something in return. Pollard should do well enough in the East. It keeps JO from playing center. Also, they get rid of someone who they don't really use anyway.

Pollard will get abused? You named three people, one of whom has injury question marks. He will be a decent center in the East. Can't be worse than half of the other centers playing the East already.
Pollard is as injury prone as grant hill......ok not that bad but he gets injuried alot...he will be soild in the east but not great...
oo, i forgot about his injuries. if he can stay healthy, he won't do too bad in the East. he might even be an all star. how scary would that be?!
I don't think that he will be an all-star. If Clark goes to Philly, he will mature more because of his starting position and could get that job, same with A.D.

If the centers in the east stay as is, he Pollard will be one
This was really a smart move by the kings..as they knew if they didn't make a trade...that they couldn't stop L.A..deep down they knew that..but now adding a 13 and 8 guy will help them...
