did you see tmac this year? He didnt freeze ever at te end of games last season. but before that he really only had 2 good plays at the end(detroit and philly).
i saw that he hit some clutch shots with around 40 secs left, but i didn't see him hit more than 1 or 2 with the buzzer sounding, or in the final 10 sec. (the 1 i remember, tim duncan came down the floor and had a dunk to win the game)
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Truemaster14:</div><div class="quote_post">im a fan of mcgrady and I dont like the crap critics talk about him so I have to argue about it............btw tmac isnt even my favorite player</div> I am very much like that for defense of Kobe..he is awesome and I think he is the most complete player but you don't have to go psycho defending him.
i still don't know how tmac beat kobe in best sg, because only me and truemaster are defending tmac and everyone is defending kobe.

tmac can play defense. it's easy to play better defense when u got a 7 foot 300+ lb shot blocking maniac playing behind u. tmac has to expand all of his energy on every possession on offense to let his team win, while kobe can spend his energy 1 out of every 4 possessions, and have more time for defense. i'm not saying that kobe's defense isn't bad, but it's not as great as u think it is. kobe and tmac's defense isn't that far apart.
^^^^thats a good point on the kobe defense, when shaq was out the laker defense fell appart because player could risk reaching in passing lanes for steals and so on when they know if they get caught out theres a big presence in the middle, which implys on zone the players up top play less intensly on defence as quoted by fisher a while back when shaq was ou that a reason for their losing was the lack of upping the intensity on defense
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting sportsrock37:</div><div class="quote_post">honestly i would rather have those 2 with the ball rather than tmac at the end of the games(final possession with game on the line). they are more clutch than tmac, but still nowhere close to horry(like kobe has). sometimes they make it sometimes they don't. horry always seems to make it.</div> The only way those guys would get the ball is if t-mac creates a shot for them because they can not create one. T-mac is very clutch I think not on the game winners but the buckets leading up to that point he is almost automatic.he just needs to work on the game winner but if it wasn't for him scoring 6-10 points in the final 5 minutes in some of those games they wouldn't even have a chance at a game winning shot.I wouldn't want the ball anyone else hands but his how is he going to get better at it if he doesn't take them. I bet he will improve on that this year.
