Why will he shoot 43% at best? If he shot 46 this past season. He use to avg almost 8 boards a game before last year. The assists I say will be closer to 5 or 6 But everything else he can do easily. When he was on the raps he use to be a dam good shot blocker finished the top 20 one year pretty good for a 2 guard. So I know he can get 1 a game no doubt and don't say because he guards little guys because he guards the other teams best 1-3 if happens to be a little guy so be it.He guards Kg and dirk when they play them.

He shot around 45..and 44 in the playoffs..not a big gap from 43 but predicting he will shot 49 or 50% from the field is odd..as no matter how good you are you can't keep that kind of % up.....if mcgrady averages 34..then no way in hell he averages close to 9 assists a game...

    <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">He use to avg almost 8 boards a game before last year</div>

Thats not this year...the fact to predict he would average near a triple double is crazy..as that will never be done again...

And you are a mcgrady fanatic...you think about him even when you are sleeping [IMG] you cry whenever someone says something you don't like about him..but i wasn't argueing your predictions..i think yours were pretty much spot on..apart from the fg% predictions..and maybe the rebounds..34,7 and 5 is more likely..

Just because he is a good scorer and finisher doesn't mean he will shoot over 50%...he is the number 1 guy...so therefore the defensive pressure is always on mcgrady..so he will hardly ever shoot 50%...not for a full season..it just isn't possible in the NBA today for a guard to shoot that well..if mcgrady averages 34PPG...i doubt he will get over 5.5 assists,6...

I think it was 45.7% to be exact. I agree with you on the assists part. I think it will be very difficult to shoot that percentage as well. But I think he wil be at 45% or higher. I never said he would avg a triple double But I think he will have a lot more triple doubles this year with a more well rounded that can actually make some shots. He might had more than one triple d last year if it wasn't for kemp being rejected or fumbling the dam ball around so much.

it might happen, he will get at least 8 assists this year, since he has guys that can score now. giricek and gooden and garrity gave him assists last year, he has juwan howard now too, who will add some more assists. the thing is allnet, whatever happens for the magic is caused by tmac. tmac gets the ball every possession and seems to always get a bucket or an assist, so he could average 8 or 9 assists. i think the rebounds might be down a little not 8, i'll pick 31 7rpg 7 apg now shooting 48% he is a very underrated shooter.

You obviously know nothing [IMG] about the game if you think he'll shoot 43% from the floor. Since T-Mac has made his way into the starting lineup he has shot no worse than 45%. Now, the Magic have players around him that should help to alleviate the double and triple teams that he faced and still torched for 32 points per game. The 8 rebs and 9 assists part of your statement, however, I agree with. I would love for that to happen, but he would have to have about 40 triple doubles during the season to average those numbers. He should be able to break 6.5 assists per game next year and his rebounds should stay about the same. The real improvements will be in his field goal %, points and, hopefully, at the free throw line.

i would love that. i know i'm a mcgrady fanatic(wouldn't be though if he wasn't on the magic), but like i said before he always seems to either score or get an assist every possession, u can never underestimate tmac, nothing is impossible for him, he's just that talented.
