grizzlies are a good team, they are just in the tough west, i think that they could beat the pistons at home too. they have a chance at any home game, but this month's home games are a challenge for them.
btw, they will surprise some teams, who are expecting to win easily over the grizz(portland, seattle, minnesota)

Raptors21, and even allnet to a certain extent, if you guys would watch any NBA games you would relize that the team who is predicted to win and the team who is better on paper doesn't always win. The Grizzlies might lose to the Cavs, Jazz, and Sonics then beat the Spurs, Kings, and Rockets.
And? grizzles have a chance against quite a few teams....but the onces i mentioned are the only ones i see them having a good chance to win.
so everyone thinks that the grizz will beat the magic in orlando? i don't think so. when orlando comes to memphis, i wouldn't be surprised, but not in orlando.
Well they beat them in Orlando this year..in a high scoring game...so they might...they in fact swept the season series...

allnet, the magic have improved greatly, while the grizz really haven't improved, picking 2 busts in the 1st round, IMO.
Who are you to judge if they are busts? The Grizzlies didn't lose anyone. The Magic lost Armstrong. The Grizzlies also signed Posey and they will sign Johnson.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting sportsrock37:</div><div class="quote_post">allnet, the magic have improved greatly, while the grizz really haven't improved, picking 2 busts in the 1st round, IMO.</div> The magic didn't improve greatly at all...they got a player that doesn't really fit their team..they are still weak at the PG spot and C spot..what makes you think grizzles won't improve? they have young talent..and also they got james posey....how are troy bell and jones busts? i love their games..they could be real good players... Jones=Jefferson
even spartanfan thinks that the grizz got screwed in the draft. magic have improved, i like the girzz, they are still good, but how can we not improve when we add a 18 ppg player onto our team? we will have a stronger bench now.
Howard was the only guy who could score on his team..the rest couldn't score..he averaged 17 on bad teams..the only good team he played for he averaged 14 a game..with 6 rebounds....he will help magic but they should of gone after elden campbell, brad miller a true center....and kenny anderson.....jones will be good for grizzles...he plays exactly like jefferson..a very good slasher that is very quick...don't be surprised to see jones play like RJ has...he would of been prefect in houston..oh well
i agree, we woulda had kandi if it wasn't for the league officials. we shoulda went after a true center, but that will allow us to deal giricek for a above average center(hopefully). howard will be a 2nd scorer for tmac, and that's basically what we needed.
The Grizzlies may have picked players that would have been available in the second round or so, but that is no reason to call them busts. West has a real eye for talent. He wouldn't have drafted two guards that seem mediocre with the 16th and 20th pick unless he expected them to produce right now or in the long run. He could also be planning a trade. He is a General Manager with loads of experience and I am trusting his judgement for now. We haven't even see Bell and Jones perform on a professional level yet so we shouldn't call them busts. I don't think that the Magic will be able to deal Giricek for an above average Center. Centers are in high demand and a decent one won't be given up for just Giricek. Things will be complicated even more by Giricek's small contract. Not many good Centers make less than five million a year. You say that the Magic have a stronger bench, but I think that you are wrong. Here are the benches compared - 1 - ZaZa vs. Stromile Swift - Winner - Stromile Swift 2 - Gordan Giricek vs. Wesley Person - Winner - Wesley Person 3 - Reece Gaines vs. Shane Battier - Winner - Shane Battier 4 - Magic Player vs. Michael Dickerson - Winner - Michael Dickerson 5 - Magic Player vs. Troy Bell - Winner - Troy Bell 6 - Magic Player vs. DerMarr Johnson - Winner - DerMarr Johnson 7 - Magic Player vs. Dahntay Jones - Winner - Dahntay Jones 8 - Magic Player vs. Brevin Knight - Winner - Brevin Knight 9 - Magic Player vs. Earl Watson - Winner - Earl Watson 10 - Magic Player vs. Ryan Humphrey - Winner - Ryan Humphrey I went 10 players deep for you. I couldn't remember that many Magic bench players though. They aren't THAT deep.
how can u say dickerson is better than any of our players when he likely won't play ever again? i'm not saying that the grizz aren't good, i was just saying that i don't think that the magic will lose to the grizz again in orlando, with our improvements that we have made. i wouldn't be surprised if we lost in memphis, but i seriously doubt we will in orlando.
