"He might sign as early as [today]," said Terry's agent, Raymond Brothers. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. Jazz vice president of basketball operations Kevin O'Connor was unavailable for comment. "I don't know anything about it," said Billy Knight, the Hawks' interim general manager. I think that if he goes to the Jazz then he will be a Point Guard. This is what their lineup would look like - PG - Terry SG - Stevenson/Pavlovic SF - Kirilinko PF - Collins C - Ostertag/Borchardt Is that enough to be better than the Nuggets?

Dunno if Harpring can play SG(defensively).
kirilenko is a very good defensive player, so he might play the sg on defense and harpring would play the sf on defense, and switch off on offense, kinda like the magic are gonna do with howard and gooden.

i might be thinking of the wrong person(but i'm thinking of the croatian dude), but can't pavolovic play pg too?
^YES he would be perfect to have in the back court with Terry. I dont see Atlanta letting him go to easy they got Daiw who is also a perfect big pg to go with Terry.Diaw and Pavolic are Similar I heard.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Spartanfan2003:</div><div class="quote_post">Sorry. I completely forgot about Harpring. When rebuilding, draft BPA, even if its a duplicate of a postion you already have. Pavovlic is a good offensive player, has great skills(handles, moves, etc). Solid defender, but sometimes is too aggressive(trying to make a steal, or block a shot). Long reach, athletic.... Everything I have read about him indicates he will be a good player, and he has the physical tools to be so. ---------- PG? Not really. SG/SF. He has good handles for that position, but not to be a PG. I think you are thinking of Planinic, drafted by NJ.
Atlanta is rebuilding............thats why they are dumping cap(Robinson for Brandon). They figure to rebuild their backcourt with Terry and Diaw. What remains to be seen is what they will do with Abdur Rahim. But Terry is likely to be kept in Atlanta. Atlanta wants him back. Terry wants to be back. This offer sheet is nothing more than to make Atlanta match it, and Terry to get the salary he wants.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting sportsrock37:</div><div class="quote_post">yeah, thanks, i was talking about plannic.</div> No problem. Actually, him, Diaw, and Pavovlic are interesting prospects whom I think will fare well in the NBA. They weren't as hyped as the other Euro's(Milicic, Lampe- yes he had hype even though he fell to the 2nd round because of contract uncertainties, and Pietrus). I believe Diaw, Planinic, and Pavovlic will all have better careers than Pietrus. They seem to have more of an "all around" game, opposed to Pietrus, who is known mainly for defense and shot blocking. I don't think Pietrus will show that he's worth a lottery pick. His shot isn't all that good, and yes, I know he is young, a rookie, and needs time.............but this is just my guess.(as opposed to stating a fact). Diaw is the best defender of the Planinic, Diaw, Pavovlic trio. Planinic is the best ball handler/passer. Pavovlic is the best offensive player(in terms of polished) These are just my opinions as well.........
