First Ever "All International Players Starting Line-up" on the Spurs Next Season??

After acquiring Hedo Turkoglu from the Sacramento Kings, now, the Spurs offically has 5 international players on board. And this might be what their starting line-up going to look like next season.

    C Radoslav Nesterovic (Slovenia)
PF Tim Duncan (US Virgin Islands)
    SF Hedo Turkoglu (Turkey)
    SG Emanuel Ginobili (Argentina)
    PG Tony Parker (France)

wow... and they probably would win 7 or 8 out of 10 games too...
and they're going to play in Paris in October, and guess who's going to be there! [IMG]

That's what I thought too. But apparently Tim Duncan is listed as an international by NBA, check http://www.nba.com/players/international_p..._directory.html

it goes to show the great standard of international players ,some coming from european leauge where there is a high underestimated standard that would give nba players a game anyday

i think duncan has dual citizenship. good find phishbone! it was just a matter of time before a team put a starting 5 of all international players. i actually thought dallas would be the first, but it looks like san antonio can make history if they put this unit on the floor.

Bruce Bowen will start ahead of Hedo. Bruce led the league and 3 PT FG%, not to mention he is a very good defender.

Hedo will be coming off the bench.

    But, yeah.......I get your point.

i dont really consider him international either. i guess he technically is, but the Virgin Islands are part of the U.S.

i dont think Hedo will start either, but that's still a nice lineup
