http://cbs.sportsline.com/nba/story/6508911 Minnesota Timberwolves draft choice Rick Rickert of Minnesota plans to play next season in Europe in hopes of improving his game and making the NBA.
I think he should have stayed in college. I think he would have been a late first rounder next year and gained weight. He might get better in europe he plays like euros.

its good 2 go 2 europe.. he'll definately benefit from it.. hopefully improve his skills and get his body in shape so when he returns he'll help out the wolves a little and give them something to look forward to on the bench.. wolves need a little work on the bench.. and Fred Hoiberg isn't the answer

That's an impression most people have of European players. It's kinda funny though, because how can one judge all European players when they only know a couple. Some of our big men can shoot pretty well, but believe me, there are a lot who can't throw a brick in the ocean. And why would they call them soft? It's true a lot of centers in Europe like to shoot the ball from the edge of the bucket, but is that soft? Or is it effective?
Rick Rickert is going to play for KRKA in Nova Mesto, Slovenia... They finished 2nd in the ULEB cup in 2002-2003. http://www.basket.krka.si (nice VC animation btw)
