Hmm.....they must enjoy having the 90 yr old centers over there. Well, I guess it'd be CENTER, Robinson retired. Oh well. My question is though, why the hell doesn't he retire??? He's gonna be 41 next season, why not just end your career on a high note like Robinson did???

Willis played a small, but integral part in the playoffs. Its a one year contract most likely, as SA is clearing space to resign Ginobili next year. But Willis provids SA with a 3rd 7'0" player. Essential in the West. He can rebound adequately. Hes a decent shooter. Can score if needed. Reliable. What else do you need from him? He knows his role. Signing him is something SA needed to do.
Because he can still play and be effective..why retire when you enjoy something so much and are still good at it? <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">they must enjoy having the 90 yr old centers over there</div> Who else on the spurs are actually old? rasho is only 27.
Robinson was old, that's what I was implying. But, why wouldn't you want to go out on top? That's what I'm wondering. Go out how MJ did twice, how Robinson did, on top.
An old robinson was still better than most of the centers in the league he made players change their shots...proof of that was the NBA finals series...players going out on top..is not always people main intentions....they want to keep playing because they feel they can go on and enjoy it.
Willis is still in very good shape, I bet he outplays most of the other centers when he's on the floor.
Oh no! Great, Willis is back!!! Oh no, it's the end of the world. I'm gonna pee my pants. Ha, just kidding with ya.
I would rather have willis who can give u 4 points a game thna camby who give u 4 games a season hahaha
