T-mac & KG vs Duncan & Kobe I don't know if this has ever been posted on here before.I have been a member for only a couple of weeks. At the end of last season when the magic played the t-wolves.The newspaper had an article on who would when if those guys would squared off.They asked T-mac and Kg that night on the pregame show and both said that they thought they would win the match-up. What do y'all guys think?
It has to be Duncan and kobe..TD is the 2-time defending MVP..just carried his team to a title...and kobe himself have 3 rings....so thats 4-0..even though rings are not an issue here....but duncan is the best in the game right now...so you have to go with him
I think despite that Duncan & Kobe both had rings and MVP--Kevin Garnett and TMac will step up to the challenge and maybe will even win it...who knows?
this is a game of 2 on 2.. so you have to consider it alot different to a team match up so duncan and kobe's rings are irrelevant (especially seeings how duncan had a very strong team with David Robinson and Kobe had Shaq and a bunch of veterans). KG can play D on Tim Duncan as well as play like a point guard on offence dont forget the ammount of space on the court on a 2 on 2 game.. KG has more variety he doesnt have to post up like Duncan.. Tracy is definately a better player than Kobe (IMO).. he's lifted his team single handedly with no other superstar but himself.. Kobe has an enterage with him and can't carry a team without Shaq.. i think Tracy would expose Kobe on defence if they met. Personally i would put my money on KG and Tmac.

TD can play anywhere on the court too. he doesn't do it as often as KG does because he didn't need to.

Duncan needs to be close to the glass... KG has a nice touch on the outside... and KGs premetier D is FAR, FAR superior that that of Duncans... in a 1 on 1 suituation KG is better... period... to put it simply i have to say that kg and t-mac would win. they can both shoot, the are quick and the can play defense. so can kobe but i think the only problem would b that duncan cannot play unstructured game of basketball. and seeing as a game of 2 on 2 is so unstructured a players raw talent must be utilised and i believe that kg and t-mac have got it over kobe and timmy d. no disrepect to tim duncan who is the mvp and undoutably the best big man in the L
TMac and KG I think could win a 2 on 2 matchup against Kobe and Duncan. Duncan is good, but Garnett could just school him 1 on 1. TMac vs. Kobe is a classic argument, and it is about equal, but Tmac I think could win 1 on 1 against Kobe. By the way, purehoops, your avatar is awesome.

it'd be a good matchup, but i think that duncan and kobe would beat tmac and kg. i know u guys are surprised by my answer, but kg can't stop duncan duncan has that low post move. i think that duncan>kg and tmac>kobe, but i think it comes down to who has the most dominating player which is duncan. i would love to see this match. i think that basketball should do how golf has been doing and do a 2 on 2 showdown.
Kobe and Duncan....Duncan can play the post bettr than ne one in the game and kobe is bettr than tmac overall..he can take a game over, can perform in the clutch, and play D...duncan and kg is a pretty equal match up too, but u hafta giv that to duncan cuz he is the 2 time mvp
i still want to see this matchup sometime. i bet u if there was a 7 game series or 5 games or whatever it was it would go the full series.
