    I'm not trying to bash him or anything but I am almost sure after 2 month in the league players will figure out how to guard Melo. Watch tapes of him and he only drives to the left. Even when he starts to drive to the right he will crossover to the left and pull up for a jumper. I think melo will be able to adjust but it will take a while and I don't expect 16 a game. In college he never got anyone who was as big an athletic as him in the NBA he will face players who are.

    :offtopic: I just looked and nobody has ever moved this thread.


    Now back on topic. I think some reasonable numbers for Carmelo are 15ppg, 6 rpg, 3 apg. I really think he can get 15. He is a huge player who can play multiple postions and can cause a defensive player havoc. He is very almost great at isolation and squaring a player up. He was probably the best in college with this, but this is the pros. This kid will get his rebounds just because of his size and how he plays the game. He is a good rebounder. He could crash the boards more often but I think that will come with time. I say three assists however he could easily get more. He can play PG if he has to and is a darn good passer.

    Overall, I think this kid will win rookie of the year, as I dont think Lebron will hold up to all the hype he has gotten.

    yeh i think ROY will go to lebron, i dont think melo is ready to play in the nba. not to say he wont do well but i just think he needs a few more years before he starts to dominate
