they have a touhg opening schedual. I think it'll look like this W W L L W L (by a TON!!!!!!!) L W W W L W W W W L theyll go 10-6 or 9-7. i think theyre a little too good to go 8-8. not quite good enough to go 11-5
i also think they will go 8-8 they have some really tough games but they have so easy ones as well like the double against the bucks
what really tough games do they have? theres sacramento. thats a loss. theres new jersey but thats at home. they play at indy on the road but they schooled them in the playoffs. they play orlando on the road but they schooled orlando all last year. Im not saying theyre gonna go 12-4 but 8-8 seems a little pessimistic even for a boston fan

yea. i think 9-7 is pretty likely. that or 10-6. when did I say they were that great or had "bigs", but they do have the best duo in the east and because of that theyll win a lot of games. whether or not u like walker hes still a 20-8-5 man whos going to come into this season in the best chape of his career. hes already lost weight and the off season isnt half over yet. theres only one automatic loss in that schedual and thats sacramento. the next closest is @Detroit. I really dont think theyre going to lose at orlando, philly AND indiana but no one really knows whats gonna happen. the magic havent shown they can beat the celtics yet
yeh u raise some good points, i dont disagree with u i just think that the league is a lot closer then it may appear and the celtics could struggle early on! i think pierce will dominate this year!
Don't overlook Chicago :mrgreen: We gave you all kinds of problems last year. This year will be the same. Curry and Chandler are too strong for you inside(especially Curry). Crawford is better than the PG you will field. Of course, Pierce will light us up(no surprise). But Walker could be slowed down by Marshall(or Chandler.....Chandler will let him shoot from outside, which is what we'd prefer). I think we could give you a good game. Add in Pippen, another reliable scorer down the stretch, which will help alleviate pressure off of Pippen. Chicago's size was too much for you last year. It might be too much for you this year as well. Will it be an easy game for Boston? No. I still think you will win, but it wont be a walk in the park......we will give you problems(like many teams with size do to Boston).
i agree that ne team of ne given nite can win u just have to balance the probablilities. full credit to the bulls who will probably hav a great year!
please don't address it the celtics as "you". im not the celtics. if I was the celtics I would still be winning championships. I wouldnt have let my franchise players touch cocaine or any harmful sunstance. and the celts arent my only favorite team. I like the bulls too and I never said theyre going to be a walk in the park for the celtics. chicago and boston will pplay close exiting games this year. they present a lot of match ups for each other. i think its a slight over statement to say that curry and chandler are just "too strong" for the celtics inside. Im a big curry fan but chandler hasnt impressed me yet and neitehr of them has really become a FORCE yet. I wish the celtics had kept JR Bremer. he could compete with crawford. IM curious to see how marcus banks is going to turn out. I thought he was garbage untill I saw him in the sumer league. it will depend how fast he developes. Boston is deeper this year and Walker is going to be in better shape but they still arent a title contender. the Bulls have a shot at the playoffs and will give teams like teh celtics trouble but I still think the celtics can win against the Bulls behind Pierce and Walker

i just think early in the season that the celtics are gonna overlook the grizz, when they have plenty of tough games ahead. there's a lot of games that the celtics could win if they play their best(detroit, orlando, new orleans, etc.), but there's games that they could lose if they suck(memphis, chicago, etc).

I guess theres a lot of teams you could say that about. Im trying not to be too optimistic about the Celtics this year. but i do think both Pierce and Walker are going to rebound from somewhat off years last year. the celtics have more depth this year but still no real post pressence or legit center. 50 wins is not out of the question. neither is 45. I think itl be somewhere in between
