new developements in kobe bryant case there are three new developements in teh kobe bryant case tonight. two of them seem to hurt kobe and his defenses case while the other favors them. - one witness, a bellman at the hotel where the incident took place has claimed that he saw the girl in the lobby minutes after the incident took place and says that the girl was, "visibly upset and distraught" and that her clothes were tattered and ripped. -another witness, a taxi driver who allegedly drove her home after the incident also says that her clothes were tattered and shreded and that she was in tears and told him that she was "forced to have sex with kobe bryant." this counters prior stories that she waited til the next moring to tell people about the incident the other piece today that will hurt the procicution is that they did not secure kobes hotel room, the scene of the incident and as a result it was simply rcleaned up and rented out to another guest who was coincedaentally another pro basketball player. now all they have is the investegators word that there were signs of a struggle. who do u think the jury is going to belive under oath. some police officers or basketball superstar kobe bryant? im starting to think this girl is telling the truth or at least had SOMETHING done to her that was unwelcome. but it looks more and more like kobe will walk.
i dunno this mite be a hard case for kobes defense attorneys..........if he does get convicted do u think he will do jail???
naw. there isnt enough evidence to rule out any reasonable doubt. kobe has a lot of money. can afford some very good lawyers. theyre going to throw so much sand in the jurys eyes they wont know what color pants theyre wearing. even if it looks like hes gonna be convicted theyll work something out. theyll throw enough money at that poor girl that she can afford all the counseling and therapy she needs to get over the experience and a new cadillac and a proder bag wont hurt none. trust me. celebrities dont go to jail.
Here is what I don't understand about cases like this - It's basically a "he said/she said" case! How can anyone prove that the guy is guilty beyond reasonable doubt?! The whole thing is extremely fishy to me and I was reading an article the other day where they were detailing all the extra people the Eagle County Prosecution's office have to go and hire and all the extra money they are now requesting to "go to war". I think the prosecution are only going to court to make some good money. I don't think Hurlbert thinks he has a chance in hell to convict Kobe Bryant.
well thats the point. its a he said she said. theres physical evidence that includes the lacerations in the victims private area and signs of trauma but its not enough prove hes guilty beyond reasonable doubt. thats why hell walk

if she wanted Kobe so bad why did he have to tear her clothes to get her undressed? Im not convinced he raped her but its obvious he did something that was unwelcome. even if he held her down and raped her repeatedly and then killed her he still would never get convicted.
