he'll get his number retired by the Pistons but he won't get in the HOF...some people would point to Bill Walton also having feet made of glass and still making it in...but he won championships and proved his worth to the NBA...Hill has just shown he is a versatile player...no rings...no HOF in my book

If he wasn't injured the whole time and actually won a title then maybe he would be considered but I don't see him being considered because of injuries which is a shame because he was a very very crazy player in his prime. He is one of those players that say he could've been.......but no.
I think he will get in the hall of fame (I don't agree with that :thumbsdow ) and his number will be retired in Detroit.
Hill doesn't deserve to be in the HOF. Hill doesn't deserve his number retired in Detroit. Retired Pistons numbers: (2) Chuck Daly (4) Joe Dumars (11) Isiah Thomas (15) Vinnie Johnson (16) Bob Lanier (21) Dave Bing (40) Bill Laimbeer Sorry, but i don't think Hill's jersey belongs in that company.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting 831 Shogun:</div><div class="quote_post">Why not? They both played on the Dream Team. Both of them went to multiple All-star games. And both were good players in their own right. The only thing I see Grant having over Vin is a sprite commercial. Grant was a fan favorite, but that alone shouldn't get him into the hall and it won't.</div> Vin had what, 4 pretty good years? Vin should NEVER have played on that Dream Team, you gonna leave off CWebb for VIN BAKER?? Please. Vin averaged over 20ppg for 2 damn years. You think that deserves him being mentioned in the same BREATH as Grant Hill?
he will def. get his jersey retired. He brought the Pistons back from the dead. I just feel sorry for Penny, his career might as well be over, due to injury. But T-Mac's got the #1 jersey now, so there's no way penny will get his retired. That guy in his prime was the best thing since MJ! Infact that leads me to a thread!
