    sg- finley
    pg- francis
    bench
    ginobili
    van exel

    1. it's cali not caly
    2. arenas is in washington
    3. brand would start over jamison

    missing c-maggs, brad miller, j-rich

the cali team would win this.
coach would be phil jackson for cali
coach would be popovich for texas

cali wins because texas has no answer for shaq or kobe. the cali team would eventually over power the texas team.

Peja is on the Cali team. Kobe and Jamison can get hot from outside, and I don't think the Texas team would get hot from outside because Kobe & Payton play perimeter defense, too well. Dirk would be hard to stop, but he would be a huge liability on defense.

it would be an exciting game though!

yeah they should try to organize something like this and eliminate that sports skills crap and the all star hoop it up from the nba all star game.

Cali - Lakers, Warriors, Clippers, Kings
Texas - Houston, Dallas, San Antonio
New York - New York, New Jersey, Washington, Toronto
Florida - Miami, Orlando, Charlotte, Atlanta

    and some other geographical groupings

shaq, brand, malone, and brad miller could all do a solid job. webber is a bad defender, and vlade is too old to handle either yao or td. i think francis could be neutralized by payton and kobe, i think dirk would be the only tough mis-match.

Duncan schooled everyone in the playoffs so it wouldn't matter who they put on him...i don't think francis could be stopped..he a few times this year played very good kobe..he had 40 against him and GP is not the defender he used to be...texas would also have a great bench..with parker, manu, mobley and NVE...

duncan had a great year, but he won't play the way he did against shaq this year. and brand plays duncan pretty well on defense. francis lit up fisher, not kobe, and gp is still good enough to force francis right into a shaq block.

he took it to shaq and got him in foul trouble. just because shaq will be in shape doesn't mean he can't do it again. i think Cali would win, though. their backcourt is just better

    Pro challenge Cal v Tex

Although I would choose Cali, Tex would have a formidable lineup:

    Houston, Dallas, SA available players:

    Francis, Yao, Mobley
    Nash,Nowitski,Finley,Van Excel,LaFrenz
    Duncan,Parker, Ginobili, Mercer

Try a Yao frontline with Duncan at 4 and Nowitski at 3 YIKESSSS
Cali would counter with Shaq with Brand at 4 & Webber

    LAC, Lakers, GS, Sac

    Brand,Magette, QRichardson
    Shaq,Kobe,Payton,KMalone
    Jamison,Richardson,Murphy
    Webber,Bibby,Peja
