Why the hell is poker all of the sudden huge. yesterday nd today thers huge storm were i am, and theres absoulutey nothing to do, so we turn on the tv and watch the homerun derby rerun(we missed it live) and theres a scroll on the bottom of the tv that says "4 hours 35 minutes till poker world seriees", tonite its on 3 differnent channels, some guy was talking about being a outcast all of his life cuz he loved poker and now hes a celebrity? more like loser. whats going on, is this all we have to take us through the offseason. and i hope no1 says its a sport. its not. it doenst deserve to be on ESPN or TV for that matter

so i just watched some of it, and its amazing. my new favorite athlete in the whole world is this guy screw dawkins and mcnabb, and the rest of philadelphia, they all out of shape compared to that guy. hes been to where the eagles havent, the SUPER BOWL. my new hero, comeon boys jump on the wagon before it gets moving. he is so cool. :thumbs down:
Poker is awesome and im way better then nflfan. Did u even try to play poker? My favorite poker player is Phil Helmouth Jr. Stop complaining even though it seems like its been forever since football.

I am all about a good Texas Hold 'em night. That game is by far my favorite poker game. I am a little peeved at the sudden popularity of the game, though. Maybe we can just blame "Rounders".
Helmouth is nuts at the poker table, i like poker too, Texas Holdem is a great game. maybe your right rounders probably did something about it but i think the biggest thing is having it on ESPN idk if it has been on it before cause i havent noticed it but thats definatly it, i actually started playing more after watching it a couple of years ago
