Still surprised he is yet to have a coaching job...coach of the year two years ago...won 50 games back to back...impressive stats..yet still no new coaching spot..and there have been loads of spots available this off-season...maybe it is true he doesn't get on with his players..but still 100 wins in two years..yet no job for next season? DAMN

I think Rick is going to be patient and wait for a better opportunity to open up. A lot of coaches will be on the hot seat this season including, Isaiah Thomas, Flip Saunders, Mo Cheeks, and Doc Rivers. Also the Lakers coaching spot might be available.

That is true, I have wondered this myself. He is a great coach, I wondered if Philly would have gotten him, kind of like a coach trade. But nothing happened, which stinks.

By the way AllNet, how do you find Larry will do with the Pistons?

Pretty good i would hope....we have not lost any players from last season which is key for every new season..and added our draft picks..darko and delifno...also big man elden campbell...so anything less than 50 wins will be a dissapointment to many people...have to see how it works out though...

I agree, I think he would have been a pretty good fit there. But Randy has known the team for a while now, so he could be the better fit. Coaching wise, Carlisle has more experience, as this is Randy's first head coaching job I think.

Yeah you guys will be a force, with new added players and everything. Plus, Larry's expertise as a coach is phenomenal. 1st place for sure.

Yea, I'm surprised he's not hired. I was surprised that Dunleavy got the Clipper(?) job offer over him. Oh well. I still think he'll get a job. If not by this season, than next season probably.

He will get a job in the middle of the season most likely a struggling team.
