Do you guys think snow should bne traded? hes getting up there in years and he might opt out of his contract at the end of the season. so do you take a chance or should we trade him for a sg ans put AI at PG or do we trade him for a big man, if u decide to trade him at all?
If I found the right (and better) person then yeah I would trade Snow but for now he's what we got. And now we got Big Dog and DC so I don't know if I would look for another big guy but Ivy at pg doesn't sound bad at all.
Snow should not be traded, the guy loves it in Philly, he will probably resign. Plus, if he were to go, that would be a dumb move by him, he knows that he would not start on any another team. Iverson should not play PG either, the two is where he progressed at, where he blossomed at. I think the team right now is fine. Maybe in the future, like in the next off-season we should try and get a trade for a big man somehow. Very bad idea, no offense though.
I think Salmons should get alot of minutes. At 6'7 and the ability to play point guard he is a perfect backcaurt partner to go along with Iverson.
True, he is a very good player. Snow on the other hand is much more superior, as he has been in the game longer and knows more about it. He is the perfect point guard in my eyes, underrated by a whole lot of people though.
Wow, your 100% right. Also in my eye, Eric is a very underated PG whos talent is never noticed by the media. He doesn't recieve the respect he deserves. Not to mention this could be a fact from having Allen such a big name, so everyone doesnt look at the rest of the team which bothers me. So much talent not realized is sad.
I am a huge Snow supporter. I loved watching him at Michigan State. Snow is 10th in the league in Assists Per Game, 19th in the league in Steals Per Game, 8th in the league in Triple Doubles, and he averages 13 Point Per Game. Not to mention that he only turns the ball over 1.7 times a game. He is doing everything right and nothing wrong. Why trade him?
Wow! Never new 8th in the league for triple doubles! I should have realized you liked Snow so much since he was a Spartan. Snow shouldn't be traded, but you have to admit he is great trading bait. Yet I am afraid Billy would make a mistake and trade him for another player or players that wont do the job to replace him.
I whole heartedly agree that he is great trade bait. He could possibly get more media attention if he got traded to a team that didn't have another great player like Allen Iverson hogging all of the media spotlight. Let's face it, Iverson is in the news almost every day.
He is real good trade bait. He is a good team leader, who plays good defense, and can score when you need him too. They need to keep him, not many other PGs are out there that can do what he does.
hes underated to fans, not GM's. they know he is a great team leader and can handler the ball. they see the way he plays defense. ur right about him being underrated, but GM's know how good he is, but not fans.
These people know what they are doing, King is a very smart man, he pulled of a great trade with Glenn. I don't think he wants to trade Eric, I think he sees him in the same way that Larry sees him. A guy that will play 48 minutes out there, do what is necessary to get a W, a total team player, a Larry Brown type of player. In my eyes he is the second piece to the puzzle, Allen being the first, without him we wouldn't be doing good as we sometimes are.
Fans of other teams usually tell me he is "overrated, isnt a true PG, and just plain stinks" Its their opinion and they're entitled to it, but I find this plain stupid! Like Arthur said he is very underated to the fans. If some people would sit down and just watch one 76ers game theyd be amazed to see how much of a leader Eric is. Hes a captain on the team for a reason!
Yeah he is, he does things other point guards wouldn't think of doing. He is confident most of all, which is what you need in a point guard, as he leads your team.
<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">These people know what they are doing</div> Yes they do. I mean, Layden is trying to screw the team up, he is doing it on purpose.
i would keep him, i don't think that they could get enough for snow. he plays good against the magic(pretty much the only time i see the sixers play)
if snow works on his shooting, and if he improves on his jumper, and is reliable, he would be the complete PG. -He plays D on bigger SG's, not PG's, SG's! AI takes the PG's. -He is a great team leader -Great Passer -NEVER turns the ball over, and he's a PG! -Smart player -Sees the court very well -Not a ball hog -Thinks pass first, shoot 2nd -Great FT shooter YOU ADD A NICE JUMPER TO HIS GAME....WOW
