This is going to kind of help me out with my fantasy pics. Your opinions are much appreciated. 1.Holmes-the man can score 2.Tomlinson-100 catches. that's pretty good for a back 3.Green-he's a frickin train 4.McAllister-saint's would crumble without him 5.Lewis-2,000 yard season. can he do it again? 6.Portis-Gibbs will run his young legs dead 7.Taylor-Still a clutch back in my book 8.Davis-Delhomme is still mediocre, there for running Davis would be the smart thing to do 9.Alexander-Very solid back, hopefully he'll get some more touches 10.James-without Peyton and Harrison there is James others are Faulk, Williams, Henry, D.Davis, and Thomas
Very good especially your top 6. But I'd have Alexander ahead of Davis & Taylor. Outside of that I'd say u've done well.
i beleive Ricky williams is better than taylor and davis...... u cant depend on taylor and davis because of there injury problems
I love the top 4 but I'd have Alexander at 5 he has been somewhat inconsistent but a consistent double digit TD guy and is a good receiving back. I would also move Edge above stephan davis and fred taylor because he catches more than davis and will score more td's than taylor especially now that they have stacy mack on roids in Greg Jones. Another reason to bump up edge and it worked for me last season when I got J. Lewis in the second round is it's his second season off his ACL injury. Due to have one or two more healthy and dominant years before the wheels fall off.
You need to add Bennett to that list. He'll be healthy for the first time in a couple of years and should have a very good season. No one in the league has the break away speed that Bennett brings to the field.
Bennet's speed is amazing and so is his talent, but with Ontario on his heels this could be another two back team. Barber and Dane, Staley and Bettis, Buckhalter and Westbrook, you get the idea.
I agree on bennett he is just out side the top ten because even Mo williams showed he can come in and play at a high level so he will be losing some touches all over the field. Bennett's foot injuries kept him from cementing his role on that team last year and let Onterio get a piece of the action. it could prove to be costly to his career in Min.
I think Tice really wants to give Bennett the majority of carries because of the fear that he can place in defenses minds. Last year defenses were ok with giving up moderate yards on the ground, but if you have someone like Bennett who is arguably the fastest player in the league, you can't cheat. Also, Tice doesn't really like O. Smith just yet...he's too cocky and too young. I agree, though...if Bennett struggles at all, look for Onterrio to get more carries.
Depending on ff or not. Tomlinson is the best back he gets yards, tds, receptions like over 80 last year and he gets receiving yards over 800 i beleive. If its a td league then its all priest holmes. 1.tomlinson 2.a green 3.priest 4.alexander 5.duece
I agree that tice wants to give the ball to bennett I just think he had a chance last season to keep O. smith from ever touching the field and making him the no brainer back of the future. He needs to bounce back this season and show he is durable and can carry inside the 20's.
I think S. Alexander (SEA) is over-rated and has been the past couple pf seasons. His stats look ok on the season, but he dissappears sometimes. He looks like Superman one week and Lois Lane the next! There, I've said it. Feel free to convince me otherwise.
"If its a td league then its all priest holmes." I like you're list, but disagree with A. Green in front of Holmes. It IS a TD league - points when games, not yards or catches (and in Green's case definitely not fumbles).
