there are many of the understimated teams who have made significant moves in the offseason. which team do you think is the darkhorse in the east? and in the west?
i think in the east its gunna b the bulls
and in the west its gunna the t-wolves
i think this cus the bulls young guns have got a year older and the got pippen and i think the t-wolves cus they got sam cassel and spree, cassel especially underated at the point could take the wolves far

I think the darkhorse in the east will be the Bulls. That team is loaded with talent at basically every position. Lets see, this is probably what it'll look like next year.

    C-Curr
    PF-Chandler
    SF-Pippen
    SG-Rose
    PG-Crawford

Yea, that team is gonna be good I think. They have a young point in Crawford who can shoot out the lights when completely on. They have Rose, who, has been consistently the best player for them the last couple years. They have Pippen, who, will be able to help the young players out with his leadership. And, they have two very young and talented 7footers in Chandler and Curry. I think this is a team to be reckoned with. If I were teams, next year, I wouldn't underestimate these guys. They have the potential to be a great team.

east gotta be the bulls and the heat might be good if they can get rid of eddie for a young center.

west the rockets, i think the rockets have the talent to move up to the #6 seed.

also the suns are a darkhorse in the west, they could make some noise and get the 6-8 seeding and could surprise some teams next year.

In the east the bulls, but you can't forget the raptors:

    PG-Alvin Williams/Milt Palacio/Lindsey Hunter/Rafer Alston(FA)
    SG-Vince Carter/Voshon Leonerd(FA)/Morris Peterson/Alvin Williams
    SF-Lammond Murray/Morris Peterson/Jerome Williams/Chris Jeffries
    PF-Antonio Davis/Chris Bosh/Jerome Williams/Jerome Moiso/Michael Bradley/Matt Bonner**
    C-Michael Bradley/Antonio Davis/Jerome Moiso

    **=unsigned draft pick.

fairly deep lineup, one advantage is so many players can play different positions. They set a record for most man days lost to injury last year, so if they can stay healthy they will be much better than they were last year, im thinking the 7th or 8th seed in the east.

in the west i would say the Wolves, they made a lot of great moves in the off-season, probably the 4th or 5th seed.

The rockets are another possible darkhorse, i would say 7th seed.

How can you consider the Wolves as a darkhorse? They were a top 4 team in the west last season and they are even better this year.

Out West I think a team who will surprise will be the Clippers. In the East I'll go with Chicago, and if Vince is healthy you have to consider the Raptors.

yehh.. i see what u mean, but like you said they are even better. I know they were a top team last season however when i say darkhorse i guess i mean they will be a top 2 team. Alot of people say they will be top 5 and i might be over rating/hyping them but i really don't see anyone standing in there way but the lakers. So i won't call it a darkhorse, ill call it a highly anticipated move which i think will result in the wolves absolutely ripping it this season.. sound better?
