Definitely one of them if the falcons and bucs can return to their form two years ago. But I'm not so sure Haslett can save his job this season. Personally I like Has but think NO needs a change and some fresh concepts in their to spark something. Plus Tebucky Jones just absolutely sucks and I thank you for taking him off our hands.
Well the AFC East is always gonna be right up there. The AFC South is getting stronger each year. Especially with the emergence of young QBs Leftwich(Jax) & Carr(Hou). Who will potentially be replacing the co-MVPs Manning(Ind) & Mcnair(Ten). NFC East is always a slugfest to the end. Throw T.O. & Portis in the mix and it should be exciting. Not to mention all the great coaches(Reid, Coughlin, Gibbs & Parcels). That would be my top 3 divisions in football: #1 - AFC East #2 - AFC South #3 - NFC East
Tebucky is horrible your absolutely right. Saints never had a good secondary to start with except for maybe Knight. NFC south i believe is a very strong division, but i'm really excited about the NFC east. I just can't wait untill the dam season start. My division rankings from best to worst NFC east-all the coaches know the taste of victory AFC south-All teams should be over 500. except for the Texans, depends on D.Davis to show his skills AFC east-DEFENSE, DEFENSE, and more DEFENSE NFC south-Last 5 Bowls this division has partaken in. AFC north-a lot of young players, this division should be exciting NFC west-i know the 49ers will suck this year, but the rest shall do just fine NFC north-Vikings are the only team in this division that will do well AFC west-Go cheifs, give it another year or two
"NFC south-Last 5 Bowls this division has partaken in." HUH?? Panthers, Bucs, Rams, Giants, Rams if I'm not mistaken...that's the last 2 Bowls then, right?? EDIT...but if you mean the old west, then I'll agree 4 of 5, but the bucs weren't in the old west, so...

I'm sorry but you can not put the AFC south over us especially with the losses the titans took in free agency this year. They will be a weaker team without a doubt. The jets need a full season with pennington and then we'll see but I think they are solid and the bills have all the talent in the world but never live up to it. Miami is always there and the Pats have the look of a dynasty if they can keep it together this season. I would defeinitly give us the edge on the south if anything because we beat the Titans and Colts twice last year and on the biggest stage possible. As for the NFC East being number 1 I'd say it's a tough call between the AFC and NFC east because they have the decidedly better coaches in the division but NYG are going to be a 6 win team this year and Washington even with all the changes could be in the same boat. Also the Cowboys were a surprise last season but will not sneak up on anyone this season and I wouldn't be surprised to see them take a step back to 9-7. The eagles should win this division again but that is another team in the NFC that I think is now overrated and will not get a chance to be a 4 time NFC champ loser. Honestly I see that whole division taking a step back before forward. Gibbs/Cough will do okay and be competitive but it will take a year to get their systems working and Parcells just didn't do enough to add talant in the offseason and is making a mistake IMO going with Julius Jones as his feature back when stephan Jackson was their for the taking. The eagles are just closing their own window with all the missed opp. and will see McNabb begin to break down from all the hits he takes. I'd give the top nod to AFC east but I'm also a little clouded since it is my teams division but there is no division that plays defense like and defense wins championships.
AFC South. my 2 suprise teams and second fav. team the texans are there, they are going to be great teams in years to come, but its hard for them to do anything with the colts there. i think the titans are done.

definatly AFC East, sure i'm agreeing with a Pats fan but thats OK, The Pats look like the champions they were last year. Miami has the defense and a great rb, Bills are getting younger and have a lot of talent and the Jets are just the best team out of all of them :.)
but really the jets have a lot of talent on defence now with vilma and others Pennington is a great passer, moss is a speedster and mccariens is there to compliment him, AFC East is the toughest division no doubt
Welcome aboard J1083; Its good to have another voice in the wilderness testifying that the AFC east reigns supreme. I do question Pennington's arm strength and wonder what talent the jets have on D other than Vilma & Abraham? This ought to be a typical yr in the AFC East where all teams finish between 7-9 to 11-5. May the team not in the Northeast win the divsion.
i think the jets have some solid guys at defence, if cowart could return to form that would be sick, tounge is ok, barton is a very good tackler, strait is a good rookie corner, also we got a decent cb from arizona whose name eludes me right now but i think its a huge improvement over last year
anyway i forgot to get to the point as for all the teams getting between 7-9 and 11-5 it the AFC East is definatly the most competative division in the league maybe not the best teams but the most competative definatly
