<div class="quote_poster">Quoting olskoolFunktitude:</div><div class="quote_post">Perkins is crap but at best he'd be a starting powerforward. too small to be a center even with his 9 foot plus wingspan. No one is untouchable. it would take a lot to lure Curry from Chicago but I think the celtics could aquire him and a draft pick for antoine walker. walker would be a great fit for chicago. he'd be the experienced leader they need and solidify the power forward position and as always be a killer from the peremeter. but of course this is just a pipe dream because the only way the celtics would trade walker would be if Perkins had shown hes gonna be a damn good starting powerforward which wont happen and if it does it will be years down the line and probably for a nother team. a waste of a draft pick in my opinion unless he becomes the enxt amare or eddy curry yea right</div> How doyou know Perkins is crap if ypou've never seen him play? You've only read scouting reports.
I have seen Perkins play and he is crap. I saw the high school all star game and James Lang like the 48th pick look alot better than him.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Vintage:</div><div class="quote_post">If Curry gets 30 mpg, and Pippen gets in Rose's face and tells him when he is taking a bad shot, I am going to guess Curry will average 16/7. Yes, that seems a lot. But he did average 20/7 for the last 2 months. And it wasn't garbage time either, as many teams needed to beat us to improve their standings in the playoff hunt. The fact of the matter is, in the East, who can really slow him down? Magloire, Wallace are the best bets IMO, because they have size and athleiticm. But Curry should be able to have his way with most teams next year due to the lack of big men in the East. Curry has incredible low post scoring skills. Thats not the question. Its his defense. You can knock on his reboundng, but if you watch games, he is always looking to box out and let another teammate(Chandler, Marshall) get the boards. If Curry boxes out, and it allows another teammate to get the board, thats just as good as if he got the board. So if he averages 7rpg bext year doing this, I wont be overly dissapointed. But if he shows no interest in boxing out or hustling for them, I will be. But he always seems to be boxing someone out when the shot goes up.....</div> yea hes going to be something else. but u dont reallly know all that much yet. and i think its a stretch to say no one will be able to stop or slow him down. Hes not THAT huge. 6'11'' 285. its not impossible to defend a guy bigger than you. especially when he lacks experience. He will improve but I dont think hes going to dominate the east. hes not ready yet. he only played 19 minutes a game this year. hell play more but i still think theyll hold him to under 30-35 mpg

In the months ive been at this site ive NEVER stated an opinion about a player without whatching them play that is the biggest insult
dont take that friggin attitude with me. I have nothing I have to prove to you. u know i know my **** and am not just gonna spout off like an idiot but just for laughs, Kendrick Perkins a soft post up player with decent footwork and no speed. lacks fundamentals and in high school he relyed on his size to overpower the puny players he competed against. ownt be able to do that in the bigs and he doesnt have the speed or ups (can he even get off teh ground?) or amazing post up skills to overcome that.
Perkins is very slow. He made James Lang look fast lol. He does nt have much of a post move at all. But BC you said he was injured and i did not no that.

But its impossible to stop him every night. Thats the way it will be with Curry when its all said and done. I am not saying Curry will be as good as Shaq, but Curry has a good chance to be very good offensively, dominating like Shaq on that end of the court. Yes, he only averaged 19mpg..........but he averaged 30mpg over the last month. He will average around 30mpg this year, as he will be starting.....

DAMNNNN you chicago folks ARE spoiled</div> no, pft at "He will improve but I dont think hes going to dominate the east." then i posted what i posted in another thread as my reasons to why he'll dominate the east
hes not ready to dominate the east. He had a great second half but thats different form dominating a conferance for a whole season. Currys only 20. Id be pretty surprised if he averaged 20 for a whole year
i didnt' say he dominated last season, i said he'll dominate this season. did you see him get double and triple teamed at the end of the season? that's gonna happen all year. he'll still be able to score on some of those double and triple teams and it'll improve his passing
thats what I meant. Its too early to safely say he's just going to DOMINATE the whole conferance for a whole season. I think this kid is gonna be just as good as you do but not THAT good THAT soon.
