Anybody else think Shaq is underrated passer?

Man, I was watchin some footage and dang, can Shaq pass! He gets it in the post, waits, kicks it back out, gets it back, and finds the cutter. He has some of the softest passes but then he can rifle it behind his back to a cutter! [IMG]

He reminds me of Arvydas Sabonis with his bounce passes and kick-outs to shooters. He knows where is options are and actually has a high sense of the court.

    Man, he is underrated IMO.

    Thoughts?!

Yes and I also forgot to add that he can pass on the break too. When Kobe and him are on the break he can look one way and then oop it to Kobe or something like that.

he is very underrated at passing but this year he would get the ball and pass it rite back out...not even try to go to the hoop...i think next year he will hafta take over that team again and demand the ball inside and take it to the hoop

I think he is one of the best passers out of the post. Yao is very good at it too.

I think he is the best or the 2nd best to Divac at passing out of the Box. This will help out Gary Payton a lot this season. He has never played a full season with a Player who is so good in the post and can also pass Very Good.

Hi guys, this is my first post.

Shaq is an awsome passer. If he weren't, he would turn the ball over much more often than he does now. He has been forced to be good to be dominant because now coaches have to think twice about who they leave open to double or triple team him. Shaq can find the open guy while surrounded by the opposition's top defenders. He is truely one of the best passing C's in the NBA.

This is my first post too-

Anyway, Shaq no doubt has great passing skills, one of the best passing big men in the league rite now, if not the best..

welcome to the site! we need support for the Lakers, it's going to be an exciting season for us!

Shaq has evolved into a great passer. He is a great student of the triangle offense and has learned to pass effectively out of the double teams. He is still not as good as Sabonis, Divac, or Yao, because all 3 those players have passing skills outside of the post.
