Hey I was just curious what you think the starters/roster will look like for the upcoming season. Heres my prediction C. Marc Jackson PF. Kenny Thomas SF. Glenn Robinson SG. Allen Iverson PG. Eric Snow 6. Coleman 7. McKie 8. Salmons 9. Clancy 10. Dalembert 11. Korver 12. Green Did I make any mistakes? Or forget somebody on the IRs that should be on the 12?
PG - Eric Snow/John Salmons/Willie Greene SG - Allen Iverson/Aaron McKie SF - Glenn Robinson/Greg Buckner/Kyle Korver PF - Kenny Thomas/Samuel Dalembert/Monty Williams/Sam Clancy C - Derrick Coleman/Marc Jackson/Amal McCaskil
Whoa Whoa I forgot about Buck and Monty. I dont know about Amal, he probably wont turn out to be anything. As long as we got AI, Snow, GRob, DC, Kenny, and Marc Jackson contributing I think we'll be alright.
It has already been reported that Derrick and Kenny will start, so it will go a little something like this: 5: Derrick Coleman 4: Kenny Thomas 3: Glenn Robinson 2: Allen Iverson 1: Eric Snow

I really wanted Jackson to start. I started a poll saying what if Jackson started, can you change it to DC starting and the 6 man choices Jackson, Salmons and McKie? Thanks...
I still think Marc Jackson is better. DC isnt the center type, hes just a tall PF. Luckily we have Dalembert back this season as another back up center.
DC chould not play center. he should play power foward. he is not big enough for a center. They should put marc jackson there

Raptors21- I agree with that roster set-up. But one little problem. Samuel Dalembert. Im pretty sure theyd play him at center this year. Plus you have too many PFs on that set. If you move Sammy to PF, everything alright.
If you move Dalembert to Center then who will backup Kenny Thomas? Sam Clancy? That'd be terrible. I say keep him at PF.
Who cares, move Amal to PF. It wont matter. Dalembert is a natural C and has been marked there for his 2 years of his career. Anyway we should be happy he is back after that long injury that prevented him from playing all last season.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting sjhoopz44:</div><div class="quote_post">DC chould not play center. he should play power foward. he is not big enough for a center. Well what should he play?!!? You said he isnt quick enough for PF, but hes too small for C and cant guard Ben Wallace type players. So what do you think we should do with him.
I never said that he shouldn't play center, read carefully next time. I might think that he is undersized, but he will start at the five. The only relation to your comment is that I posted a link in another thread stating that he (Derrick) does not like the position (center) that he will be playing.
Oh alright, sry I didnt recognize that. Coleman is pretty good down low, but hes messing our team up. He shoots too many 3's, doesnt hustle, and isnt that good of a rebounder. I cant wait till his contract is over.
I hate big guys that take threes. Thats means there lazy and dont want to work down low and get easy points.
Especialy like VanHorn. I cant believe we had Coleman and VanHorn, two forwards that chuck up 3s. Other big men like Tim Thomas, but he makes his. Tim isnt lazy either, he can work down low very well. I wish he didnt leave Philly, and just waited till this.
Coleman is an old player, he has been in the league for a long time, I think he knows what he's doing. I know he doesn't hustle, but he is a big factor in our success, he gave us such outstanding play last season. Mostly after the all-star break, as he was the second piece to the puzzle which gave us that big run. Also in the playoffs, he was a monster, taking him away from our team will only cause us hardships. I am glad that he has signed on for three more years, he is a joy to have. Another thing about his three-point shooting, he averages 32.8 percent from that area, for a big man that is very good. Allen averages 27.7 and yet I do not see you putting him down because of that. If he were to leave who would we put in as a replacement, Marc, I think not, he doesn't have enough experience.
