Steve Kerr Retires,Joins TNT... http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/news?slug=ap-t...ov=ap&type=lgns <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Steve Kerr has decided to end his NBA playing career and join TNT as an analyst. The cable network announced Thursday that Kerr will work on-site at one of TNT's two weekly Thursday night telecasts, along with All-Star weekend and the playoffs. Kerr finished his 14-year career in June by winning a championship with the San Antonio Spurs -- his fifth title. He was considering playing another season. ``It was tough to pass up the opportunity to play another year for the Spurs, but I'm so thrilled about the opportunity to work with TNT,'' Kerr said. ``It was the only way I'd pass up another year of playing in the NBA.'' Kerr was named to the NBA's All-Interview team twice during his career and has made numerous appearances on TNT's studio show.</div> Great way to end his career..and what a career he has had....5 championship rings..be interested how he does on TNT...
Good for him, He went out on a high note after draining those threes against the mavs in the wcf. Going by rings hes one of the greatest of all time lol. Chees Kerr.
he will be a great analyst, but we might see Kerr lace it up when the playoffs come around ala Tim Hardaway last season. lakers and spurs will both try to lure him back for 1 more ring.

yeh it is a great ending for kerr to go out on a championship, it will be enjoyable to see him working for tnt!

TNT's smart to offer him the job
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Paltry:</div><div class="quote_post">Yeah.. Please Fire Chuck Barkley..!!</div> charles is awesome!
i don't want to let kerr go i mean i still think he has plenty of long range three's to sink in..... but that guy has had one heck of a ride in the NBA, playing w/ michael jordan, tim duncan getting championship after championship.....what more can one ask for? i think he'll be cool on TNT
Charles Barkley is an embarrassment as a commentator. he talks out his ass so much I keep expecting him to start farting out his mouth
Bill Walton is too loud too goofy and too outspoken but he knows more about basketball than anyone on that program. It figures as Walton is one of the most fundamentally sound basketball players ever. Charles was a great player but he shouldnt be a broadcaster
just because Bill knows a lot about the game doesnt make him a great announcer/analyst. i cant stand to listen to him. at least charles keeps it interesting back on topic: hopefully stevie will be better than both of them
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Paltry:</div><div class="quote_post">Yeah.. Please Fire Chuck Barkley..!!</div> hey, Charles is really funny--despite his crucial comments sometimes, it's just the 'tude. Plus. Who else would mention about going fishing on NBA?!?!?! lol.
Kerr is going to make a great NBA analyst. Pssst. I think Ray Allen is gunna be an analyst for TNT someday...after all he won the NBA All-interview this year (says with glee... )
