the idea of adding veterans jon barry to the team and resigning reggie is a good one, but think about it just a lil harder. if barry is signed he would play both guard posisions and possibly even a little bit of 3. reggie would probably start at shooting guard. this would slow down the development of players such as ron artest, jonathan bender, al harrington, and especially freddie jones. if the pacers are smart they will sign one of the 2 vets and bring that one off the bench. we have great young tallent, dont ruin it!!!

Signing Barry and Reggie just makes us better. With a probable starting 5 of C- Pollard PF- JO SF- Big Al SG- Artest PG- Tinsley We can fit in our youth off the bench C- Foster PF- Bender SF- Barry SG- Reggie PG- Anthony Johnson (ruins our young talent, should have Freddie or Brewer there) Next year we could see Freddie Jones as backup point (when AJ leaves) Carl English as backup 2 (when Reggie leaves) Bender sliding to backup SF to replace Barry and Croshere at PF. For now these guys can be 3rd stringers but next year when we lose 3 backups it's time for the youth to come in and provide. This post assuming we sign Jon Barry
