<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">The Heat signed forward John Wallace and is expected to finalize a deal with center Loren Woods by today.

The 6-9 Wallace joins new Heat forwards Samaki Walker and Udonis Haslem. The team already has Brian Grant and Malik Allen at the power forward position.

Wallace was drafted by the Knicks in 1996 and spent six years with New York, the Toronto Raptors, the Detroit Pistons and the Phoenix Suns. His best season was in 1997-98, when he averaged 14 points and 4.5 rebounds while shooting 48 percent in 82 games for the Raptors.</div>

    The Man is back!

Pat Riley training is exactly what Wallace needs. If he works hard enough on his game, especially his " El Matador" defense he could maybe be reborn again into a Jamal Mashburn clone. His offense is complete with turn-arounds,fade-aways, and 16-20ft jumpers. Watch Riley work some magic this season.
