They have a great team. They just need to play as a team and they have a great chance to make the playoffs.

 

With JWill running the point, gasol getting better inside, and swift getting more minutes, they have a great shot of making the playoffs!

I see sonics,clippers,warriors being better than grizzles next season....so 11th spot for memphis..i just don't see them going much next season unless there is a trade...

 

Memphis had no chance last season they started 0 and 14. Then Hubie took over and they started winning. After the All-Star break they had a winning record. So don't say that they have no chance to make it. Every team has chance to make it.

Last i checked the grizzles were in the west..not the east..so really they don't have much chance to get in....that starting 5 could make it in the east but not the strong western conference..it just isn't good enough yet..

grizzles are even with rockets? last i checked..the rockets had two allstars...and a future superstar in yao ming...and mobley a 17 a game scorer..no way are they even..all of the top players from the teams i mentioned are better than the grizzles first option..and after gasol..grizzles don't have much of a 2nd star or scorer

Francis - 20 points 6 dimes (2nd in the league in turnovers)

Miller - 16 points
They have NO SF!
Gasol - 19 points

Swift when he starts - 18 points

Grizles have one good scorer..and a bunch of soild players who get you 11 or 12 a game....miller averaged only 12 at memphis..not 16..person 11 not 13....swift is a 9 a game scorer....they will make the playoffs maybe in 2 years..but not next year..just don't see it happening..if they make a trade my opinion might change

If they won't make it, it will be by 2 or 3 games, buddy. They have many solid scorers, and the Houston Rockets only have 2 scorers. Stromile Swift will be nasty if he gets minutes. Watch some games!

 

They average over 100 points a game, their defense just sucked, but it is getting better. They have players that can score big time. This year Jason Williams will average 16 points per game, buddy.

 

I agree with JWillTheFreak. They are a completely different team than they were at the beggining of the season last year. Ever since Hubbie Brown has come in they have come together and played a great team game. Brown even got Jason Williams to tone his game down. What did that result in? It resulted in Jason Williams being second in the league in assists. The Grizzlies can do anything they put their minds to. You can't rule a team out of the playoffs before the season even starts. I say yes, the Grizzlies will make the playoffs.

 

Why even ask this question? There is no chance of them making the playoffs. Dahntay Jones is there player that can guard his man one on one on the whole team.

Ok, buddy. Having scorers doesn't mean a thing. The Rockets only have 2 scorers? Steve Francis, Yao Ming, Cuttino Mobley, Eddie Griffin, and even Moochie Norris off the bench.

No they don't..the rockets have a much better chance..they have TWO ALLSTARS..grizzles have none...you need two stars to make it in the west...plain and simple

 

One thing, TWolves only have Kevin Garnett.
