Brian Bisaillon, New Bedford, Mass.: Do you think Marshall Faulk is still a Fantasy stud and worth the first overall pick on Draft Day? G.G.: Faulk still has the tools to be an explosive player, but injury problems in recent seasons make him less appealing as the top overall pick. There are younger, more durable running backs like Ricky Williams and LaDainian Tomlinson who should get the nod ahead of Faulk, simply because the risk is far less. Faulk does have a few more seasons of productive football left, but there are better options available from an overall standpoint. I think he is worth the #1 pick IMO. Sure he has had injuries but even with those injuries he is still the top back year in and year out. He is a touchdown machine and whenever he is on your roster he gives you a WR and RB starter in one person. Injuries are a concern but the same could be said about other players. During most FF playoffs(weeks 14-16) Faulk has one of the easiest schedules to go against.

<div class="quote_poster">Quoting J-MAC:</div><div class="quote_post">Well in a keeper league i would not pick him #1 over LT or Ricky Williams</div> Well of course. Faulk would still be high as he still has a few years left of being the best fantasy football player. If it is a keeper league and I have the 1st overall pick im taking LT. I dont know many people that wouldnt.
