i just want to see what everyone thinks, what will the final standings be at the end of the year, heres my predictions for the AFC:
    AFC East
    1. PATRIOTS- Defending SB champs will win this one again and with Dillion... scary
    2. DOLPHINS- not good enough to beat the Pats, qbs are bad, will edge the Jets
    3. JETS- good additions but the defense still isnt good enough,
    4. BILLS- Bledsoe is getting old, Henry cant do it by himself

    AFC North
    1. BALTIMORE- great defense, bad offense but will still edge out the division
    2. STEELERS- will have thier let downs, but i think they have the offense to get here
    3. BENGALS- new qb, i think hes gonna have to adjust to the NFL and by then it will be a little too late to get the division
    4. BROWNS- garcia is a plus but they are no match for the other teams in the division

    AFC South
    1. COLTS- Manning is way too good, enough said
    2. TITANS- they lost thier core of defensive players such as Kearse, McNair will carry them but they wont beat out the Colts
    3. JAGS- Shipped out Brunell for to give Leftwich the team he'll do a good job for his second season but Titans and Colts will beat them out
    4. TEXANS- No match for anyone in the division they are still a new team but are getting better little by little

    AFC West
    1. KANSAS CITY- Powerhouse offense, the Priest is a Beast, makes up for the D-fence
    2. DENVER- Plummer will do better this year, now they have a problem at RB, whoever they pick they wont produce like Portis did, but defense has improved w/ Champ
    3. OAKLAND- Collins is gonna fight for the job, got a lot better at defense...hey they could definatly come in 2nd in this division
    4. CHARGERS- LT will carry them and Rivers will be decent but they have no defense

well that was the AFC, NFC is the next one

    heres the NFC:

    NFC East
    1. PHILLY- Could finally go to the superbowl this year
    2. DALLAS- Parcells is working this team, they have a great defense, not the greatest offense but the defense will carry them far
    3. REDSKINS- Gibbs will make the O-line better, Portis will have a fine year but the defense has some patches and they are old
4- GIANTS- they have a ways to go in my eyes

    NFC North
    1. PACKERS- Favre is still great, Ahman is gonna rip it up again, Javon Walker may step up and thier defense is dencent
    2. VIKINGS- Culpepper to Moss is scarier than ever, they could just have another let down season
    3. CHICAGO- Horrible offense but the defense is pretty good just watch out for injuries
    4. DETRIOT- Bright future but are one of the worst teams in the league right now

    NFC South
    1. CAROLINA- great defense, but it all is up to Delhomme again, he just got a huge contract, i think he can produce this season
    2. ATLANTA- Vick is a great athlete but this team doesnt have the defense to go far, a team cant just rely on one guy
    3. SAINTS- McAllister is getting better and better, Brooks will produce again but the defense has ways to go
4- TAMPA BAY- Losing Sapp and Lynch was a blow, no running game and Johnson getting old looks like another year in the cellar

    NFC West
    1. ST. LOUIS- explosive offense, good defense will propell them to the top of this divsion again
    2. SEATTLE- Hassellbeck has to have another good year, Alexander is in for a huge year i like how Rhodes is operating the defense, despite losing Springs, they will be fighting
3- ARIZONA- YES i have arizona 3rd, WHY?!? because of the offense, Boldin and Fitzgerald will be terrific, and if McCown is as good as Green says he is (which i doubt) i think the offense will carry them to a 3rd place finish
4- 49ERS- too many loses to FA, Rattay is thier starter, not good, Barlow is promising but that is about the only thing that is promising about the 49ers

ok so tell me what you think, make your own changes

AFC- only a minor problem, its goin to be Baltimore winnin the North w/ Bengals 2nd and Steelers 3rd...sorry SF or any other Steeler fan, but they need a year or 2.

NFC- It looks great... if only the thing you said about the Eagles came true, man id be happy

    AFC east-
Patriots-13-3(+) I'll be suprised if they lose more than 3 games
Dolphins-9-7(-) Their defense should be in the top three at the end of the season.
Bills-8-8(+) Hopefully Drew still has some left in him.
Jets-6-10(+) They have to improve a little more on the run defense, Dillon, Henry, and Williams. Good luck.
    AFC west-
Cheifs-11-5(+) As long as the offense stays healthy.
Broncos-10-6(+) Some Additions should help on defense, hope the loss of Portis won't be a big factor
Raiders-8-8(-) They'll bounce back once they get some young legs in there.
Chargers 5-11(+) Is Rivers their savior. Run LaDainian Run.
    AFC south-
Colts-13-3(-) If they play strong with no injuries, Patriots will have some competition come playoffs.
Jaguars-9-7(+) Look for Leftwich to have a big year.
    Titans-9-7(+) Still lingering around
    Texans-8-8(-) Still young.
    AFC north-
Bengals-10-6(-) This is the year to prove themselves
Steelers-9-7(-) Staley and Bettis should help out Maddox and the rest
Ravens-9-7(-) Defense should win a couple games
Browns-4-12(+) Jets #2, no run defense. Lewis, Staley, and Johnson.
    += could do better
    -= could do worse
    NFC west-
Rams-11-5(+) Offense should be top in the league
Seahawks-10-6(+) Very solid all around team.
Cardinals-8-8(-) We'll see what Denny Green has in store
49ers-3-13(-) I'm going to love to watch this
    NFC east-
Eagles-11-5(-) We'll see how the additions turn out
Cowboys-10-6(+) Q. Carter is improving by the minute
Redskins-7-9(+) Who knows what to expect
Giants-7-9(-) We'll see how Warner does his first year back
    NFC north-
Vikings-12-4(-) If Moss wants to play, he'll play.
Packers-8-8(+) Ahman is a beast and so is the defense, but if Favre is washed up i don't think they're going to sit him. Sorry Couch.
Bears 7-9(-) Defense will be good if they stay healthy, but the offense is still rebuilding
Lions 5-11(+) Give it a year or two
    NFC south
Panthers 10-6(+) Was it a fluke?
Saints 10-6(+) If healthy, we should expect to see a turn around season
Falcons 9-7(+) Vick is deadly, but new coaching is the ? in my mind.
Buccaneers 8-8(-) Still rebuilding from the loss of 2 big defenders
