why are you so bitter, i was away for the weekend, and I am not a Radio Nerd, i guarentee you I know more about my team and their history than you do about the Eagles, in fact you are still bitter because we went to the Superbowl and you didn't. Remember that game, Philly came up short- as Maxwell Smart said "missed it by that much chief"!

look at it this way, even if people are promoting the satellite thing and 500 people visit this board, if you get 10 good fans that stick it will be good for everyone. as far as last year the only fans more angry than philly are the rams fans. with a miniute half left, idiot martz played for field goal. he did that crap the whole season too.

Sorry, I couldn't resist. I said I would be back. It did have Tom Brady and John Madden in it talking about the NFL.

this is causing a pretty big controversy... how bout someone deletes this topic and the word Sirius one of the words filtered out of posts... we can always call it the radio station.

and all the advertisers can stop talking about it and actually talk football

No need. I will leave you alone. My apologies for disrupting this forum. But in my defense the thread was about Sirius. If I do post again it will be under the Cowboy thread.

I will not talk about "the radio" anymore, but before I stop, if someone told me I could listen to NFL talk 24/7 and all NFL games when I wanted, I would want to hear about it. Now if i was here trying to promote the radio regarding the new Eminem channel, you would have a very good reason to be mad at me.

Once again my apologies to the board.

No worries. The post is within the confines of football, but we should move on. Everyone here has gotten the point...Sirius radio is really cool. I have actually contacted Sirius to see if they'll do a promotion with us, but I haven't heard back.

To those who don't like this thread...if you want to see it die, then don't respond to the thread. It will drop off naturally.

SAWZALL WROTE So if you want to pay $130 a year to listen, maybe, to the home team, with all the commericals attached, it just might be the perfect thing for you. All BS aside (and I have been intentionally giving you the bad side, to balance out the pumping you have been given above), for a fan far away from his team, this might be a godsend. But the number of people who fit this example will be pretty small. So it won't hurt the local broadcaster at all. Especially since he will be getting paid for it too.

So I started a new post to see how many people live outside of their teams cities and over 50% in fact odn't live where there team plays. Which is a high amount I think

Rams, I just saw a comerical with Tom Brady and Madden. It looks really cool, I think I'll pick it up by the season.
