Clark-"Kings aren't championship caliber" http://deseretnews.com/dn/view/0,1249,510047145,00.html <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Even though he re-signed with Sacramento this summer, Clark wasn't ecstatic to be with that playoff team that he now says wasn't championship-caliber, though many people thought the Kings could win. "In my mind, the chances of a championship weren't there last year. You've got to have a championship mentality. We didn't give enough to be in a championship round," Clark said. He felt like excess baggage, especially when he sat the bench in the playoffs after playing all year. "I knew a little shuffling was about to go on," he said. The Kings' attitude toward him was, "'If Chris (Webber) got hurt,' or 'If Vlade (Divacs) got hurt, then you can go in and play minutes,' but if they were healthy, 'Just get your pom poms and enjoy the game like everybody else,'" said Clark. "It's great to be able to be wanted (by Utah)."</div> Bold statement hey...
Why is it that as soon as a player leaves a team he Disses the team. Clark has done it. Emmit Smith did it. A lot of other players did it.
The last part of that statement doesn't make much sense. Webber is a terrific PF when healthy, so the Kings would obviously want to keep him on the floor. Vlade can only give 30 mpg or less, so the Kings probably wanna get as much out of him in those 30mpg as possible. I thought Keon would know his role better than that. :thumbsdow

Clark needs to be quite , he said he wanted to go to a winning team last season, and thats why he chose Sacremento. He could have gone to Orlando, LA, or stayed in Toronto, if he wanted to fill up the stat sheet.
clark should have just shut up. firstly, he opted to stay for a second year with the kings. he could have just became a free agent if he really wanted to leave the kings so much. secondly, he should stop complaining. so far EVERY time he has left a team he has complained about it: Denver: he dissed management and head coach (at that time) Dan Issel Toronto: said Vince Carter isnt a good player Sac: what he just said. clack is a <font color="darkolivegreen">Edited by Spartanfan2003.</font> who has no game all talk.
Well the guy has game, but people overrate him , he is a decent bench guy at the best , he has no offensive game, he cant shoot the ball at all, thats why Adelman played Hedo instead, when Chris went down. and I dont ever want to hear anyone compare the great Darell Armstrong with Keon Clark.
Just wait and see , Darrel is going to light up the Magic for 30 points, when they play each other on October 30th
I don't think that he was "dissing" the Kings. What he said was true. The same thing happened to Mateen Cleaves. He was an excellent first round prospect going into Sacramento, but unless both Bobby Jackson and Mike Bibby got injured, he would have never seen the light of day.
Funny enough..i did not post Clark dissed the kings..i said Clark-"Kings aren't championship caliber" which is what he said.... But guess who edited my post again
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting allnet:</div><div class="quote_post"> But guess who edited my post again </div> You should have not posted the entire article. You know that.
Say what? I did not post the whole article..why do you think I posted the article? does it look like I did?.....it is the damn subject line that was changed...
I really don't care what Clark says or thiks bout Sac Town! He's just bitter that he got traded! The Maloofs even said he was a good player but too expensive! Y is he always mad bout his old teams gettin rid of him! If he was so unhappy why didn't he ask for a trade? Why did he want to stay? I am not one who normally cares what overrated players think but he made me pissed!!!!!!
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting olskoolFunktitude:</div><div class="quote_post">the kings can still win a championship. Clark was great but mBrad Miller is better</div> There window to a championship is closing each year.
what a moron, this just shows that hes a smack talker, and the garbage he said about toronto when he left them just gets dismissed. id suggest that he shut his mouth...but with a mouth like this...its clear that could be a year long project:
