Last night I was watching The Best Damn Sports Show Period, and one of the guests was Samuel L Jackson, but anyway, they asked him a question thats been circleing for years, and i believe HIS was the best answer i've heard..... "Do you think Vince Carter is overrated as an athlete". Samuel :"I don't think it's a case if he's underrated, cause Vince is got some game, when he's 'HEALTHY' he's got a big game. The only problem is he just can't seem to stay healthy to show it consistantly. Vince has what I like to call Ken Griffey disease. See Griffey is one of the best players in the league, and can can hit the ball with some power, only problem is he can't stay healthy long enough to get his game goin before he's back on the injury list. Some people, like A.I. for instance can play through the pain, others, unfortunately like vince can't. just something i thought i'd mention, kinda stuck in my head. And it's TRUE, people have critisized Carter for the last two years, but over those two years, he's been nothing but injured. Whenever he's come back though...he's avg no less then 22ppg. This'll all go away if he can stay healthy, people will be on this board saying, "yo i knew vince was the man...i'm hollering at you "O' dogg", or however it goes.
