How vital is a dominant center to winning? maybe not dominant but at least halfway great and certainly a ways better than good. who was the last team to win a championship without a good/great center (or a guy named michael Jordan on the team)?

It kind of defeats the purpose if you don't count teams with a Michael Jordan type player because if there isn't a good/great center then the team will have to need a Michael Jordan type player (of course not on the same playing level as MJ, but you should get the point). I guess you can make a case for the Bad Boys not having that great of a center, but I think they were good enough at that spot to not be considered weak. This past years Spurs weren't great at center. It all depends on what you consider being a good or great center. What kind of stats do you think a player would need to be considered a "good" center?
