The Grizzlies have told Posey that he is getting a starting job. Williams, Gasol, and Miller will obviously be getting starting jobs. That only leaves Center open. I think Wright will start here, but the Grizzlies are on the verge of a trade to get Nazr Mohamoud or Eric Dampier, so I can not tell yet.
swift is better then all 3 of those guys so it makes no diffrence if they would trade for either of them. posey is not better then battier or person
I feel Person will get traded so will Gasol....with grizzles getting Sheed back...time will time..Swift and Battier are on the block....so if they find any takers for them....they will be gone

The only thing Person has on him is shooting. Posey is also better than Battier. I am not saying Battier is bad, I like him, and would love to have him in Chi, but Posey is the better player. The SL should be PG-J.Williams SG-J.Posey SF-M.Miller PF-P.Gasol C-S.Swift 6th-S.Battier i would start Swift over Wright any day of the week..
i saw him play plenty of time and he did not impress me. he is only a big time dunker he avg 9 points in houston
JWillTheFreak, drop it. It doesn't matter who is better, the Grizzlies told Posey that he will start no matter what. Why does everyone want Stromile Swift to start? He is 6-9 and will be thrown around in the post like a ragdoll. All Stromile basically does is pump the crowd up. He has power dunks, blocks, and even rebounds that get the crowd to their feet every game, so the fans forget the fact that some games he has been on the court for twenty minutes without scoring. Other games Stromile has had over ten turnovers. I always say that Stromile has stone hands, because everytime a player passes him the ball he drops it. Here is something I wrote in the past about how I doubt Stromile's ability - Stromile was the second choice overall in the 2000 Draft. He should at least have a starting role right now. Stromile plays in sperts. He is far from consistant. He said in an interview last year that the reason for his inconsistancy was simply the fact that some days he just doesn't feel like playing. This could be translated into the fact that he has no motivation and a weak work ethic. I think that Jason Williams was that way before he came to Memphis. Now that Hubbie has gotten a hold of him he has become quite the polished player. I just hope that Stromile can make the same turn around. Hubbie seemed to be getting to Stromile towards the end of the season, but then he went cold again. In my mind he is no question mark. I am sold on him being an inconsistant backup and nothing more.

Are you saying that you want him to start because he is exciting to watch? Your logic is flawed. Teams start the best players, not the most flashy or popular ones.
Stromile doesn't produce everytime he starts. He is a fan favorite so I understand why you are taking his side in this arguement, but you need to face the facts. Wright will start unless the Grizzlies trade for J.James, Foyle, or Dampier.
