I live in Baton Rouge and am a Pack fan. Originally from WI, doing graduate work at LSU. I've never lived in GB.

I would say most fans (75%) don't live in their teams' citites, but probably half live close...or at least within the same state.

i think that would be a better question to ask, its more to a point in my opinion

well you have to consider people moving to different states after thier childhood, cause they could root for say the Packers for thier first 18 years and move to Florida, do u really think they are gonna start rooting for Miami

With me, TV is the reason I prefer Miami. The legendary game between Miami & San Diego in 81 (?) was my first exposure to Miami. I started rooting more & more for the phins. I was a Broncos fan; they were the "local" team.

About that time, I saw Marino while in college on ESPN at a ighbors house and was memerized by Dan the Man. I started rooting more & more for the phins. After Marino was drafted, it was a done deal.

I live in Minnesota, but spent two years in Baltimore. I actually like Baltimore before I moved out there, but after two years I have grown a distaste for them. I bleed purple and gold no matter where I live.

I live in both michigan and tampa for business and pleasure. I can say i live more in michigan more cause i spend more time there with work. However i became a fan of my bucs when we purchased our condo in the siesta keys. The whole bucs atmosphere changed me and how i thought in 1990.

Chiefs fan from KY, currently living in VA. I would guess the locals are a far bigger percentage. Perhaps 80-85%?

Born and raised in Iowa. I guess I was just a 6 year old bandwaggoner from the Staubach days. Kind of liked the Vikings then too, but between the rivalry and the medication, that problem was cleared up. At least I wasn't a Steeler fan (sorry SF).

Was born in Denver moved to L.A. when I was 3, vowed to move back to Denver when I finished high school. Got a summer job to help with the move and 18 years later still working at the same job I took. Met my wife, got married, had a kid and still living in Southern California. We are in the process of buying a house and it is in escrow right now so I guess I will be here for a little bit longer, thank god for Direct TV...LOL
